Dasavataram by Chandhra Babu

It looks like the multiple role mania has gripped not just the film industry but also the political field and one such man who is spearheading this initiative is none other than the architect of Tech-Andhra N Chandrababu Naidu, former Chief Minister and the head of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

It is known news that Babu is currently busy with the 150 day 'Mee Kosam' Yatra and has been continuing it with determination despite the hits he has been getting within his party with his chief lieutenant Devender Goud dumping him at the right time in the name of a separate state and the Bhuma couple walking out citing lack of recognition after being given the chance of contesting for the MP tickets and helping them win it.

Babu has been donning the role of a farmer one day, cobbler the next, a Milkman the later day, the driver of a truck and all the forms that are part of the daily lives of the poor and the down trodden. The agenda of his roles is to try and get into the skin of the lives of these people and then chalk out a relevant economic policy so that they benefit out of it. While Babu has made his presence felt not just in Andhra Pradesh but also in the entire world with his futuristic vision and hi-tech methodologies, he has now got into the ground level to create a reformation amongst the poor and the agricultural classes since that's the reason why he was pinned down tamely in the last elections.

He has now completed 80 days of his tour and his party members have been urging him to call the tour off and come back to Hyderabad since they feel that a lot of revamping and restructuring has to be done in the party layers in view of the recent jolts they have received. However, Babu has looked at the brighter side of it and has clarified that it is better to get rid of those who work with personal motives than those who work with commitment.

He has been giving some really unbelievable assurances to the rural sections during his tour and while he has been receiving flak for his promises, Babu who has a clear understanding of the business economics of the state is confident that his words can be fulfilled given the type of economy the state is currently in.

On the other side, the experts and analysts have been working on their graphs and statistics drawing a comparison to YSR's 'Pada Yatra' and Babu's 'Mee Kosam' and it has come to light that YSR has failed miserably in keeping up his promises and the same could happen with Babu too. However, it must be remembered that there have been several instances during his regime where Babu has silenced his critics and proved that his vision and strategy always worked to the best.

The aggressive and determined man that he is, Babu has understood the pulse of the people after coming out of his ivory towers during his nine year tenure as CM and if given one chance to regain power, folks are sure that he would bring about a lot of change to the agricultural and economic sectors and like Kamal Haasan has achieved huge success after donning different roles one hopes that Babu will taste success too with his 'Dasavatharam'.

Adding to this, Babu has been giving promises with respect to free rice, free cereals for poor. We have to see if he also shows Nandamuri films for free. Earlier the films 'Kantri' and 'Pandurangadu' were shown for free to people by TDP leaders. The tickets were sold out in bulk and the local leaders tried to impress the party head. Now Kalyan Ram's 'Hare Ram' is releasing on 18th of this month. Will this 'free-motive' continue among TDP leaders now again? That has to be seen.

In fact it is not the case of only Nandamuri clan and TDP-even 'Jalsa' was shown for free for many as Chiru followers have bought tickets in bulk and distributed among their men.

Free for all in Babu regime!

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be going crazy, in his eagerness to get back to power in the State.

Having been left with nothing new to promise to the people (his arch rival Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has already been implementing whatever Naidu was planning to woo the people with), he is now saying everything would be free for the poor, if they voted the TD back to power.

For example, Naidu is promising 12 hours of power supply to farmers free of cost; rice to all the white card holders free of cost, houses for the poor free of cost; cooking gas free of cost; power supply free of cost to all households having two bulbs, fan and a television set; bicycles and school uniform to all the students free of cost and interest free loans to the poor artisans.

Where would he get money from to implement all these 'free' schemes? Well, first vote for Telugu Desam and then ask this question, is what Naidu is saying. Shall we believe him?

YSR been praised by sonia

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy does not want to let go any opportunity to grab political mileage. Even as there is a lot of unrest among the people due to severe power crisis and lack of rains, YSR managed to get all that negative impact neutralized on Thursday by bringing Sonia Gandhi to State.

The inauguration of Krishnapatnam port, laying of foundation stone for thermal power station, launching of Rajiv Arogyasri programme and interaction with Dwcra groups, and above all addressing a public meeting at Nellore on a single day has enhanced the image of YSR.

Added to this, the government released huge advertisements in all the dailies and weeklies, besides TV channels, gave immense publicity to the Chief Minister.

And true to his expectations, Sonia was all praise for YSR for taking the State in the path of development. At every meeting, Sonia described Andhra Pradesh as No. 1 state in terms of development, thanks to the able leadership of YSR. And the Chief Minister was in such a jubilant mood that he spoke ex tempore, moving freely on the dais and patting the officials. At the end of the day, YSR's day was made.

Panabaka squeezed Nedurumall couple

Whether it was a coincidence or a deliberate move on the part of the organizers, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Panabaka Lakshmi had to sit between Former Chief Minister N Janardhan Reddy and his wife N Rajyalakshmi, the State minister for Women and Child Welfare.

It happened in all the places in Nellore. Everybody knows that Panabaka was running a rival camp against Nedurumalli couple. And she openly criticized NJR for hatching a conspiracy by making Nellore an open seat. Thereby, Nedurumalli wants to come back to Nellore, his native district, instead of choosing a distant constituency like Visakhapatnam. But Panabaka wants to contest from Nellore itself, though it is dereserved.

So, Panabaka was definitely feeling inconvenienced in sitting between the husband and wife, who did not even look at her, leave alone exchanging pleasantries. Sonia was too busy with her programme and more over, she was absent minded with Delhi developments, so, she did not notice the situation. Apparently, even Nedurumalli couple was unhappy for this uncomfortable situation.
