If not Jagan, how about YSR’s wife?

It is now evident that the Congress high command will not succumb to the pressure tactics of the state Congress leaders to make Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as Chief Minister, a section of the Congress is bringing to the fore the name of Vijayalakshmi, wife of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Several district Congress committees are learnt to be adopting resolutions that the Congress high command consider the name of Vijayalakshmi, if it is not interested in considering the name of Jagan for various reasons. “When an uneducated woman like Rabri Devi can rule Bihar state, why can’t Vijayalakshmi garu, who observed her husband’s adminstraton in such close quarters,” a Congress leader argued.

That looks silly. And these Congress leaders are going crazy. “When Sonia is not able to accept the candidature of Jagan, who has at least some experience in politics, how can she accept Vijayalakshmi?” a senior journalist wondered.
