Her Astrology Affecting Chiranjeevi

The power of astrology is something that has been ruling the hearts and minds of many in our state and things get more intense when it comes to the bigwigs. The list includes the family of Megastar Chiranjeevi too. While the horoscope of Chiru has been under scrutiny from all angles, here is an inside truth to his success.

Believe it or not but then it is being said that the life of Megastar Chiranjeevi has actually taken a golden turn after the birth of Srija in the family. It is heard that Srija is the girl who has got a very powerful horoscope and it is due to that Chiru had reached some really towering heights in his career and fame.

As can be seen, the moment Srija got married and went away with her beloved Sirish Bharadwaj, trouble began for Chiru with the political tensions, dimes of father, Nandini's case, Nalini's Csae, problems at home and outside and other issues. Inside sources say that Chiru has been in touch with Srija through the phone after the birth of his grandchild. Let us see how this works for him. But astrologers say that the power of her horoscope has gone to her husband Sirish Bharadwaj now as she got married. Now Chiranjeevi has to struggle and win only with his 'sankalpam' and few virtues in his horoscope.

Both are poor!!

We all know that a 60 year old actor has come amidst people as leader and turned CM 25 years ago. The journalist who has got acquaintance with NTR those days has revealed certain facts to a News Paper. He said that he asked a few questions to NTR when he announced the party and mentioned this: "What is the agenda of your party? Are you right to the center or left to the center"? Then NTR replied, "Ours is a regional party and we have no connection with Center at all". That was the political ignorance of NTR those days.

"But that ignorance was not projected in big way in News Paper due to the agreement he had with Ramoji Rao", the journalist said.

The journalist also said, "NTR used to talk in grandiloquence to bluff people as if he knows lots of things. As it was difficult for him to communicate he used to confuse people with the 'heavy language' which people do not understand. NTR never used to read News Papers those days and he was a complete illiterate in politics by the time he announced his party. Chiranjeevi is a bit better than him. He reads News Papers at least. NTR turned CM by pretending as a politician with vision and with the help of News Paper, Eenadu. Now Chiranjeevi also needs such a support. We all know how Chiranjeevi fumbled while reading the agenda that was prepared by some other person, during the announcement of party on August 26th. But media is not that generous like in 1982. It is rampant now and battering Chiranjeevi highlighting the loopholes and weak points".

No one, including NTR, expect that he would sweep and win in 1983. But that happened miraculously-thanks to the hysteria of people. Congress leaders, those days, said that NTR would certainly lose in elections and he has to go back to Madras with bag and baggage. Had NTR lost, the same Congress leaders would have made it big scene stating that their prediction hadn't gone wrong. NTR tried to develop alliance with many parties and finally decided to join with Menaka Gandhi's 'Sanjay Vichar Manch' which has no recognition among public at all.

Congress is 125 years old, TDP is 25 and Chiranjeevi party has just born. There would certainly be tremendous difference among the experience and outlook of these parties. Even Chandrababu has no proper view on issues like Telengana and how Chiranjeevi can have? Chandrababu is pointing out the authority of relatives in Chiranjeevi's party. But what he is doing with Balakrishna, Hari Krishna, NTR and Kalyan Ram? Four fingers point on us while we point one on a person. To sum up, we can say Chandrababu and YSR are rough politicians and they know how to play cards as per time and trend. But Chiranjeevi is very poor in such things as well as political knowledge like NTR when he started party.

Another TDP leader joins in chiru's party

The political migrations to Praja Rajyam, floated recently by Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, continued with former TDP minister K Vidyadhar Rao on Monday joining the party along with his followers.

Rao, who held several key positions in TDP during his 25 year long political career, was expelled from the regional party a few months ago for openly supporting Chiranjeevi and predicting that the matinee idol would become the next Chief Minister.

People are looking up to Chiranjeevi to provide clean and corruption-free government that is wedded to moral values, Rao said while vowing to work for Praja Rajyam's success in the next years elections.

"I am confident that he will herald the much-needed change," Rao, a four-time legislator from West Godavari district, said at Praja Rajyam office here.

Asserting that he was not aspiring for any position in the party, Rao, who had served in the cabinets of late N T Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu, said he wanted to contribute his mite in realising the dreams of Chiranjeevi and ushering in genuine social justice in the state.

"Chiranjeevi has inspired countless youths to take to social service and is keen on working for social justice. I will be happy to be part of this mission," Rao, who had also served as Deputy Floor Leader of TDP in the past, said.

Welcoming him into the party fold, Chiranjeevi said the former TDP leaders vast experience would be an asset for new party.

Chiranjeevi launched the party before a mammoth gathering at the temple town of Tirupati on August 26.

He is now gearing up for a state-wide tour, raising expectations among his fans that he will re-create the magic of legendary hero NTR who had created a record by storming to power within nine months of forming Telugu Desam Party in 1983.

Chiranjeevi's political entry has triggered desertions from the main players--Congress and TDP.

Soon after the actor's announcement of political foray, senior Congress MP from Narsapur Harirama Jogaiah quit the party and Lok Sabha membership and joined Chiranjeevi's party.

The TDP Rajya Sabha member C Ramachandraiah, former MP and Rayalaseema strongman B Nagireddy and his wife Shobha had also resigned from TDP and joined the actor's camp.

Ramoji’s pressure on Naidu

TDP supremo and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is under a different type of pressure from a special person. Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao has been asking him to join hands with megastar Chiranjeevi so that the duo can form a government after the 2009 elections in the State.

In fact, this pressure has been going on for sometime, ever since Chiranjeevi announced his intentions to join politics last fortnight. As a result of it, Naidu has agreed to meet Chiranjeevi at his residence a couple of days before the latter's Tirupati public meeting.

Expectedly, only "Saakshi" Telugu daily belonging to Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's son Jaganmohan Reddy carried this story prominently this week.

TDP supporter and film producer Aswini Dutt has taken the initiative of arranging a meeting between the two.

Surprisingly, both Naidu and Chiranjeevi are reluctant to have any tie up with one another, due to different reasons. While Naidu is confident of coming back to power on his own, Chiranjeevi too is equally confident of mustering sufficient number of seats based on his charisma.

But sources close to Chiranjeevi said that ever since the megastar got in touch with Ramoji some time back, the latter has been advising him to go carefully and have a fool proof arrangement.

Ramoji's view is simple: Remove the YSR government from power first and the rest can be sorted out later.

Ramoji, who has been waging an open battle against YSR, has made no secret of his anger against the present Congress government in the State. His belief is that once YSR is dethroned, the Congress will not have a strong leader and will eventually wither away like in Tamil Nadu.

Ramoji has been asking both Naidu and Chiranjeevi to bury the hatchet for a while and form an anti-YSR combine before 2009 elections. If they succeed, later they can fight with each other on a long time basis. According to Ramoji's assessment, sources say, once out of power, YSR will lose his steam and become a small time operator.

Sources close to Naidu said that though TDP chief is not so happy about this line of argument, he is not averse to a post-poll patch up with Chiranjeevi, if that helps in forming a TDP-led Govt.

Presently, Naidu is of the view that TDP at the worst may fall short of 20 to 30 seats for simple majority.

Chenna Krishnaiah a YSR follower??

Kadapa-based Chenna Krishnaiah, who created anxious moments to Chiranjeevi on "Praja Rajyam" party issue, is suspected to be a mole of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Chenna Krishnaiah, who applied to Election Commission of India for registration of a new political party by name "Praja Rajyam" a couple of weeks ago and announced the launch of the party at Kadapa on August 25, just a day before Chiranjeevi announced the party at Tirupati meeting, finally withdrew his application with the EC authorities, after a lot of negotiations with Chiranjeevi's team. He was offered not only a membership in the Chiranjeevi party, but also a key position in the party executive.

Yet, sources in the Chiru camp suspect that Chenna Krishnaiah could be a Congress mole. According to these sources, the Chief Minister managed to find out Chiru's proposed party names well in advance through his intelligence sources and after discussing with his close colleagues, he got the names registered through three or four different sources. That was the reason why YSR's close confidant Botsa Satyanarayana could disclose Chiru's party name much before the megastar officially declared on the Tirupati meeting dais. "If he is not a YSR's mole, how can Chenna Krishnaiah announce his party name, just a day before the Tirupati meeting?" sources wondered.

However, Chiranjeevi did not expect that Chenna Krishnaiah had already filed papers before EC. That was the reason why he made arrangements to register the name on the same evening before EC. But by the time Chiru's representatives went to EC, the name was already pending registration!

He have hope on only Nandamuri Heroes

With the pressure building up on the political circles, the Telugu Desam Party which is right now in a catch 22 situation when it comes to the forthcoming elections has been building up its ammunition in every way possible and leading from the front is N Chandrababu Naidu who is putting his master mind to test so that he can come up with the best alternative possible.

In this process, he has now resorted to the Nandamuri clan to take the lead and use their film appeal on the people of Andhra Pradesh so that the vote banks are intact. The first name that stands on the list is Nandamuri Balakrishna who has already expressed his willingness to support.

More than Balayya, Naidu seems to be keen on the charm and strength of NTR Jr since he is considered to be a better orator when it comes to public meetings. However, it remains to be seen whether the young tiger would be willing to oblige and if he does, then the combination of Balakrishna with NTR will be a strong force to reckon with for Naidu

People pulse i know very well says chiru!!

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (IANS) Andhra Pradesh politics took a glamorous turn Monday with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi beginning his much-awaited political journey by inaugurating the office of his party. He will formally launch the party later this month. Chiranjeevi told reporters that he would launch the party “before the end of this month” and would make an announcement “in a couple of days”.

The actor, who had so far confined himself to social service, is launching his party when the state is gearing up for the elections scheduled early next year.

The posh office built in the upmarket Jubilee Hills neighbourhood was inaugurated by the actor in the early hours Monday in the presence of his family members, close aides and two rebel leaders of the ruling Congress party and the main opposition Telugu Desam Party.

Amid chanting of Vedic hymns by priests, the office was opened at 12.50 a.m., as per the ‘mahuratam’ set by astrologers. The family performed special prayers to seek divine blessings. The function was held in secret and the media was not invited.

However, as the word spread about the actor’s arrival, a large number of his fans and media persons gathered outside. Dancing in gay abandon, the actor’s fans raised slogans and expressed their confidence that their hero would be the next chief minister.

The actor’s mother Anjana Devi, wife Surekha, brothers Nagendra Babu and Pavan Kalyan, son Ravicharan Teja, brother-in-law and key adviser Allu Arvind and close aides Mitra and K.S.R. Murthy were present.

Rebel Congress MP Hariram Jogaiah and former minister K. Vidyadhar Rao, who was expelled from the TDP recently, also attended the function. Jogaiah and Rao earned the ire of their leadership by openly supporting Chiranjeevi.

Talking to newsmen, Chiranjeevi defended conducting the function in a secret manner, saying it was done as per Hindu traditions. “Now, nothing will remain secret,” declared the actor, who has been ruling the Telugu film industry for over two decades.

“The party will be launched before the end of this month. We will announce the date, venue, party name in a couple of days,” Chiranjeevi said.

“I know the people’s pulse - they are waiting for me to announce the launch of my party,” said the 53-year-old actor, who enjoys a huge fan following in the state.

He is likely to launch the party at a massive public meeting in the temple town of Tirupati on Aug 22, his birthday. Allu Arvind recently visited Tirupati to choose a venue for the public meeting.

The actor expressed his grief over the devastation caused by heavy rains and flash floods in the state and appealed to his fans to help the victims. “I appeal to my fans to lend a helping hand to those affected by the floods,” he said.

In November last year, one of Chiranjeev’s close aides claimed that he had decided to launch a party. The speculations led to his fans holding meetings in different parts of the state to urge him to make an early announcement.

Chiru, as he is popularly known, came out with a statement few days later, appealing to his fans to remain patient till he makes an announcement. Continuing the suspense, the actor had said in January that he needed more time to take a decision.

However, in the last three months, Chiranjeevi’s brothers and aides held meetings with trade unions, women, IT professionals and other sections of society at different places in the state to prepare the ground for the party’s launch.

People are drawing a parallel with thespian N.T. Rama Rao’s political entry in 1982. He had come to power within nine months of launching the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

After formally launching the party, Chiranjeevi is likely to undertake a state-wide tour on a special chariot. State assembly elections are due next March.
