Selling his pride

Vijayawada: The media managers of the Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy have proved that pickles man-turned-media baron Ramoji can be bought any number of times. His commitment against Congress will get compromised against the money that the government is offering him from time to time in the form of advertisements.

Despite Ramoji planting lead stories against YS, the Chief Minister's media managers have found a new method of purchasing the top slot of the front page of Eenadu. The top slot is being used to beat the drums for YS on one side and on the other they have succeeded in preventing Ramoji from using the same slot to plant stories against the government or YS.

A couple of senior IAS officers and some of the senior officers of the Information and Public Relations Department, who form part of the YS media management, have been working on coming up with new style of advertisements, exclusively for Eenadu.

These handful of handpicked officers have been proving time and again that Ramoji's anti-Congress commitment can be bought with an advertisement. They have proved it on Tuesday too by having a story of their choice on the top slot of Eenadu. Many more such stories, in the form of advertisement, are being planned for the days to come.

Dont wont for chiru says Rajasekhar

"Please don't vote for Chiranjeevi. Please give value to your lives and your children's future. I have personal touch with Chiranjeevi and hence I'm saying this. He is misfit to be a politician. A politician should be in reach of public. But Chiranjeevi is not that type. He is not Andari Vadu but 'andanivaadu'. He runs to America if any problem comes to him. If we make him CM he will run away like that when people are in problem", said Dr Rajasekhar in an interview given to TV9 this evening along with his wife Jeevitha.

He also said about the plight of leaders those have walked into PRP from various parties saying, "Only the leaders those are waste and considered to be trash are joining PRP now. And their plight is something pity. "Rajuni chusi mogudini vadilesi vellinattu undi". They learn big lesson in PRP".

Finally he said, "I give zero marks to Chiranjeevi as politician. I'm saying only the things those are in circulation in public".

People suggests Rajasekhar is the right person!!!

TV9 declared that 63% of votes were polled in support of Rajasekhar stating that he is right person to compete with Chiranjeevi in coming elections by represnting the same constituency that Chiru represents. Both Rajasekhar and Jeevitha said that either of them are ready to vie with Chiranjeevi in coming elections. Adding to all this as majority voted in support of Rajasekhar it stands out to be a diturbance in Chiru camp. As they feel that majority population is behind Chiranjeevi, now the polled SMSs hit their morale. Let us see what happens.

TV9 vs NTV on politics

Two news channels are now equally popular and they are TV9 and NTV. While some people come and strike their thighs in challenge on others, the others are coming to other channel to do the same.

While the political tensions are rising high, its direct impact is being felt on the film industry too and making full use of this are the TV channels who have been bringing about various film personalities and cascading their opinions to the viewers.

Apparently, the famous TV9 channel came up with a special interview program on actor Rajasekhar and his rather smart wife Jeevitha. The couple was fully loaded with anti Chiru ammunition and did not waste a second to promote that he is an absolute disaster and can never make a good leader.

On the other hand, the NTV came up with their special that had the eccentric Posani Muralikrishna along with the suave and sophisticated Murali Mohan. While Murali Mohan's stand was more against the Congress party, it appeared that Posani was hitting directly at Rajasekhar. Some say it is trouble invited by Rajasekhar himself.

So while the Kabaddi match between the two channels was on the ones to have a laugh about it are as always the general public. But it must be said that such lambasting sessions are signs of mere immaturity and a statement of ego that is being passed without a sensible thought towards service or public welfare.

Alert Alert says YSR...

This is more a battle of minds than power or influence, with the arrival of Megastar Chiranjeevi into politics the issue is now between YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chiru himself when it comes to power but then the megastar has been having more than he can chew as he is pitted with a tough customer.

Recently, Chiru stated that the people in the state are unhappy with the present situation and they want a change. Chiru is still in dreams by stating that. However, YS was quick to lap onto the subject a few months ago and has been working vigorously to ensure that the government projects are driven full force and special focus is given on the rural and interior parts of the state where the major vote bank exists.

So, Chiru's plans to bring about a Tsunami have actually back fired since the situation is not that critical as he has assumed. Instead, he might have to come up with a larger than life performance if he is intending to stay in politics for a long time since the people seem to be satisfied with the current situation.

Challange between PRP vs CONGRESS

For the firs time, Praja Rajyam Party has openly accepted the challenge thrown by the Congress on development of the State.

Reacting to the challenge made by Information Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy to Chiranjeevi to show that there was no development in the State, PRP leader K S R Murthy and others on Monday said they were accepting the challenge. They pointed out that the so-called development was only superficial, which was grossly inadequate to improve the living conditions of the people.

'If there is so much development, why the people are still agitating for land, fertilizers, seeds, rising prices, drinking water and medical facilities in remote areas? Let the Congress come out for an open debate on all these issues," the PRP leaders said.

So, the straight battle between the PRP and the Congress has begun. Let us watch the tamasha!

He follows father foot steps....by checking his videos

Balakrishna's guru in film acting is none other than his father NTR. Now he turned the guru again for his political speeches as well. Chandrababu Naidu felt that Balakrishna needs thorough training to speak on dais and for the purpose he has found that the best way would be giving orientation for him by showing the speech videos of legend NTR. Balakrishna should now learn to adopt the constructiveness in speech by watching his father's harangues.

Balakrishna is going to learn the nuances before he sounds his first political campaigning speech in Yuva Garjana at Guntur in the month of October. The motive of the speech is to pump in confidence among the party cadre and also pull the attention of voters. While Chiranjeevi is going in his way, Balakrishna, his filmy opponent is vying with him on political arena as well.

Chandrababu believes that film stars influence voters and he took the examples of Jayaprada, Ghattamaneni Krishna, Krishnam Raju and many. Now we have to see how far the impact of Balayya babu would fall on voters.
