Its chiru and YS

Puli tho anna messgae !!!

With the political wars touching the film industry after Megastar Chiranjeevi has entered into politics with his 'Praja Rajyam', the obvious ploy would be to make films that could convey in a subtle manner some political messages to the audience about their activities or anything.

In this process, Power Star Pawan Kalyan is all set to arrive with his new movie 'Puli' wherein he is doing a double role and one of which has him playing a cop. There is news that the film is being made with intent of conveying few messages to the audience on behalf of Chiru.

On the other hand, there is actor Rajasekhar who is all set to arrive with his new movie 'Satyamevajayathe' and he will also be seen as a cop and doing his best to drive his political agendas across. It is also said that he is grooving in a few dialogues those will directly hit Chiranjeevi. All in all, it is going to be a war between the policemen trying to push their political parties across

ANDHRA lo bomb vesthe Tamil nadu lo pelindhi

Chiranjeevi has indirectly brought tensions for Rajni Kanth and here is the story. Chiranjeevi's political entry has brought ignitions for Rajni fans. It is known that Rajni fans have been willing to see their star as the leader of the state. But Rajni has been giving ambiguous statements regarding his political entry and didn't confirm on anything. His films 'Baba' and 'Kathanayakudu' also have grooved in such statements regarding politics from the side of Rajni Kanth.

Last evening Rajni fans have created big turmoil at the residence of Rajni Kanth holding a protest and asking him to set up new party. All India Rajni fans association Preadient Sathyanarayana has involved and pacified the fans saying that he would arrange for a meet with Rajni Kanth, The fans said that they are confident of convincing their star and make him form a party.

We have to see how things would change down the line. On the other hand, as per a survey there is a steep downfall in the popularity graph of Rajni Kanth which made fans worry. Hence they are carrying rallies and other forms of campaigning for their star's popularity.

TDP + TRS = unethical

Senior Telugu Desam MLA S V Subba Reddy, who has always been a rebellion within the party, has fired yet another salvo against party president N Chandrababu Naidu.

He told a private TV channel that it was totally unethical on the part of Naidu to think of an alliance with Telangana Rashtra Samithi, just to get a few seats in Telangana. He said that would create a serious problem for TD in other areas. "If Naidu allots certain number of seats to TRS, the TD is going to lose double the number of seats in other regions," he warned.

He said leaders from Telangana and coastal Andhra were misleading Naidu on Telangana issue, only to please him and keep their seats in tact. So, trouble has begun in TD over Telangana!

Eka Tour start and Box badhalu avuthudha leka ???

Megastar and Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi is of the opinion that he would emerge as a strong leader once he completes his State-wide tour and his party would grow into a full-fledged political organization.

But political observers say the tour would be a real test for Chiranjeevi, because he is going to face hell lot of problems from his fans, ticket aspirants and local leaders. Already, there have been clashes between fans and local leaders who have migrated from other parties on making arrangements for Chiru's visit. Naturally, money plays a major role here. And those who spend money would naturally expect some benefit from Chiru.

Chiru would have to solve all these issues. If there are ugly incidents during the tour, that would create a bad image for Chiru and the Congress would quickly use the situation to its advantage. By the time he returns from the tour, he would be facing hell lot of problems. So, politics is not so easy, man!

Joke of the day

Chiru stunned with media power!!!

Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi has realised the "power" of the media. Even before he was in the final round of discussions with his "core committee leaders" over his State-wide tour programme, all the dailies reported on Sunday that his tour would begin on October 2, the Gandhi Jayanti day.

Chiru who spoke to mediapersons, wondered how they were able to source the information which was being discussed within the party. "Our people are yet to give me a final note on my tour programme, But, you have already declared the date. Now, I should make up my mind, whether I should go by the date fixed by you, or defer it by a couple of days more," he said.

He, however, said the party would organise a programme "Janda Panduga" from October 2, in which party flag would be unveiled in every nook and corner of the State. Perhaps, over-enthusiastic media might have thought Chiru would kick off his tour with that programme.

Tarakaratna actual name is ......????

It is a general habit for the audience to get used to the film name of stars and the perfect example for that would be Chiranjeevi whose real name is Sivasankara Varaprasad. Chiru aside, there are few other stars too whose real names have never come out into the open and folks believe that what they have on screen is their real name.

A good instance for that would be our Nandamuri hero Tarakaratna. Did you know that his real name is Nandamuri Obulesu and that's what he was called as before he changed his name and entered the industry. Apparently, Tarakaratna evolves from the combination of his grandfather NTR's name and title, Taraka from Nandamuri Tarakarama Rao and Ratna from 'Nata Ratna' his title.

However, despite the numerous magical combination and coming up with an impressive name, this has failed to take the graph of Obulesu anywhere in the industry and those movies that were announced sometime back have any chances left of seeing the light. What if he gets back to his original name and tries his luck? Perhaps that could work

The actual history of praja rajyam

No, we are not talking about the recently founded party by Megastar Chiranjeevi which is still in its infant stages. We are talking about the movie 'Praja Rajyam' that was churned out from the banner of Padmalaya studios starring superstar Krishna and the eternal beauty Jayaprada and this movie hit the screens exactly 25 years ago.

True to its title, the story revolved around the issues of farmers and this was the result of Krishna's promise to his mother Nagaratnamma that he would make a movie on the farmers' issues. It was presented under the Ratna movies banner and was directed b M Mallikarjuna Rao. The highlight of the film was the dialogues that were penned by Paruchuri Brothers and became a big hit during those times.

Interestingly, the film was also shot in Burripalem which happens to be Krishna's native and there was one scene that had about four hundred bullock carts along with hundreds of people which was considered a major feat in those days. So this 'Praja Rajyam' by Krishna was a trendsetter of its time but will Chiru's 'Praja Rajyam' create some similar magic? That remains to be seen.

Lagadapati office was attacked by TRS workers

Telangana Rashtra Samiti workers attacked Lanco Hills office in Banjara Hills. They demanded to arrest MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, whose car caused injuries to a TRS worker in Nizamabad. TRS MP Vinod Kumar demanded to arrest Rajagopal and file a case against the car driver.

TRS workers stopped the convoy of Pranab Mukherji in Nizamabad. Lagadapati car was also there that caused injuries to a TRS worker while protesting against Pranab Mukherji.

Lagadapati criticized Siddipet TRS MLA Harish Rao for the attacks on his office. He said that TRS is playing cheap politics. The government and police will take care of his office he added.

He maintains distance for personal........

Chiranjeevi attacked Congress with his disappointment today.

"I'm far from personal allegations. I felt bad looking at the plight of weavers in Siricilla and hence reciprocated with disappointment on government. I never go for personal allegations and will not respond for such allegations on me as well. Government is showing partiality on weavers. We have initiated a committee to study the woes of weavers in Siricilla. And I demand Chief Minister to give response for the suicides committed by families of Siricilla weavers", said Chiranjeevi talking to media today.

We have to see what YSR says for this.

Black White Flick In Color By NTR

He was known as the true personification of Lord Rama and Krishna on screen and if someone is asked as to how they look then they would point out only in one direction – towards that of the legendary NTR. Any Telugu person in the entire world will accept without doubt that NTR was the best when it came to enacting the divine roles.

Now, his yesteryears magic is all set to make reappearance on the screen and that too with the modern touch like color and the audio digitalization. We are talking about the 1960 movie 'Venkateswara Mahatyam' which will soon be arriving with the said changes and all NTR devotees can see him once again on the silver screen.

The person responsible for making all this happen is the noted Tamil producer O K Mani and it is a rather proud feeling that a Tamil person is taking pains to bring back the legacy of a Telugu legend. On the other hand, NTR enjoys some true patronage even in the Tamil audience so it could well be a treat for the devotional audience of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu.

Yes to Ghandhigiri or not???

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi has thrashed many a villain in reel life, but he will be adopting a non-confrontationist Gandhigiri style in his political life. In fact, Chiranjeevi had played a role in popularising Gandhigiri in the state through his film ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad,’ a remake of the popular Munnabhai MBBS. Now he is going to translate it to the realm of politics too. It is known that he Praja Rajyam chief has been poring through books of self-help gurus such as Stephen R. Covey, Norman Vincent Peale and Dale Carnegie to teach his party workers a non-confrontationist problem-solving approach in political matters. Even if the Praja Rajyam leaders come under severe attack from political rivals, the party would exercise utmost restraint while retaliating.

“Chiranjeevi wants to establish moral standards in the political system,” said the Praja Rajyam spokesperson, Mr Parakala Prabhakar. “To ensure this, he has asked leaders and workers in the party not to respond for criticisms from other parties.” The rule is applicable to leaders and workers of all levels and was also impressed upon Rayalaseema strongman Mr Bhuma Nagi Reddy when he joined the party. “Even Tammineni Sitaram was given a lecture on non violence when he joined,” said a close aide of Chiranjeevi. The Praja Rajyam will adopt this pacifist attitude even in the agitations it will take up.

However, Chiranjeevi will not wear Khadi to advertise his Gandhism and will continue to don his customary white shirt and black trousers. “You won’t find any change in my attire. I want to go to the public with my normal dress,” Chiranjeevi told this correspondent. The actor feels that his customary dress code would touch the hearts of middle and lower middle class people, whose votes he is looking for. It was film actor-turned-politician Mr N.T.Rama Rao who broke the traditional laws of politics by wearing khaki dress to identify with the poor. Later, NTR opted for saffron clothing and a turban

'Check' To Upendra

Vijayawada: Former Union Minister and veteran politician Parvataneni Upendra, who has been keeping a low profile since 2004 elections, wanted to jump into active politics these days.

It was heard from the family circles, that Upendra would join Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam and would be one among the coterie. However, it has been more than a month that the Megastar had launched the party and every sundry leader is joining the Praja Rajyam except Upendra.

Now, it is heard that his son-in-law and Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal, is said to be the reason why Upendra did not visit Praja Rajyam party office till date. It is a fact that Upendra wanted to return to the active politics to keep a check on his son-in-law. But Rajagopal had a different game plan to win against his father in law.

Rajagopal established a drama that he is not in good terms with his wife, Padma. Padma is Upendra's pet and the former Union Minister would give his life for her. In fact his attachment to the daughter had distanced him from his sons, who also wanted to teach a lesson to Rajagopal. However, it is said that Upendra is keeping silent because of a request from his daughter, Padma.

The sources said that Rajagopal had asked Padma to stop her father entering politics as that would cause problems to his political growth in the Congress. And Padma is playing the role of Lagadapatii family's daughter in law but not as Parvathaneni's daughter. He had even reportedly laid conditions to Parvathaneni family that he would be 'friendly' with Padma, only if Upendra kept himself away from active politics – particularly out of Praja Rajyam.

While Upendra looks at Praja Rajyam to hit his son-in-law, Rajagopal has already established his Rajyam in Upendra's family.

KCR condition rejected by Vijayashanthi

Heroine-turned-Talli Telangana president Vijayashanti is understood to have rejected the condition put forth by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao for merger of her party with TRS.

The TRS president said last week that the merger would take place in two or three days. But even after five days, it did not materialise.

Inquiries revealed that Vijayashanti did not accept KCR's condition, after discussing with her colleagues in the party. They told her that she would lose her identity, once she joins the TRS and it was very difficult for her to adjust to KCR's style of functioning.

They suggested that she could agree to have a tie-up with TRS and also with other Telangana outfits like Nava Telangana Praja Party of Devender Goud, so that she would have some bargaining power. If she joins TRS, she might not even get the party ticket in the next elections, they warned. So, that is the story so far!

Fans not so keen on Dalit CM

The Praja Rajyam chief Chiranjeevi’s statement of making a Dalit as the Chief Minister if his party was voted to power has not gone down well with his fans. The annoyed fans, led by several delegations, called on Chiranjeevi on Tuesday and made it clear that they want to see him as the Chief Minister and “none”.

They told him that such statements could send wrong signals to the party activists which comprises mostly of fans. Realising the gravity of the situation, the Chiranjeevi camp jumped into action to set things right.

The actor-turned-politician met senior leaders to take stock of the situation. He asked the party spokesperson, Dr Mitra, to “clear” the clouds over his statement. Party leaders found themselves in a piquant situation as they could comment against Chiranjeevi’s stand and at the same time could not pacify the furious fans.

Selling his pride

Vijayawada: The media managers of the Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy have proved that pickles man-turned-media baron Ramoji can be bought any number of times. His commitment against Congress will get compromised against the money that the government is offering him from time to time in the form of advertisements.

Despite Ramoji planting lead stories against YS, the Chief Minister's media managers have found a new method of purchasing the top slot of the front page of Eenadu. The top slot is being used to beat the drums for YS on one side and on the other they have succeeded in preventing Ramoji from using the same slot to plant stories against the government or YS.

A couple of senior IAS officers and some of the senior officers of the Information and Public Relations Department, who form part of the YS media management, have been working on coming up with new style of advertisements, exclusively for Eenadu.

These handful of handpicked officers have been proving time and again that Ramoji's anti-Congress commitment can be bought with an advertisement. They have proved it on Tuesday too by having a story of their choice on the top slot of Eenadu. Many more such stories, in the form of advertisement, are being planned for the days to come.

Dont wont for chiru says Rajasekhar

"Please don't vote for Chiranjeevi. Please give value to your lives and your children's future. I have personal touch with Chiranjeevi and hence I'm saying this. He is misfit to be a politician. A politician should be in reach of public. But Chiranjeevi is not that type. He is not Andari Vadu but 'andanivaadu'. He runs to America if any problem comes to him. If we make him CM he will run away like that when people are in problem", said Dr Rajasekhar in an interview given to TV9 this evening along with his wife Jeevitha.

He also said about the plight of leaders those have walked into PRP from various parties saying, "Only the leaders those are waste and considered to be trash are joining PRP now. And their plight is something pity. "Rajuni chusi mogudini vadilesi vellinattu undi". They learn big lesson in PRP".

Finally he said, "I give zero marks to Chiranjeevi as politician. I'm saying only the things those are in circulation in public".

People suggests Rajasekhar is the right person!!!

TV9 declared that 63% of votes were polled in support of Rajasekhar stating that he is right person to compete with Chiranjeevi in coming elections by represnting the same constituency that Chiru represents. Both Rajasekhar and Jeevitha said that either of them are ready to vie with Chiranjeevi in coming elections. Adding to all this as majority voted in support of Rajasekhar it stands out to be a diturbance in Chiru camp. As they feel that majority population is behind Chiranjeevi, now the polled SMSs hit their morale. Let us see what happens.

TV9 vs NTV on politics

Two news channels are now equally popular and they are TV9 and NTV. While some people come and strike their thighs in challenge on others, the others are coming to other channel to do the same.

While the political tensions are rising high, its direct impact is being felt on the film industry too and making full use of this are the TV channels who have been bringing about various film personalities and cascading their opinions to the viewers.

Apparently, the famous TV9 channel came up with a special interview program on actor Rajasekhar and his rather smart wife Jeevitha. The couple was fully loaded with anti Chiru ammunition and did not waste a second to promote that he is an absolute disaster and can never make a good leader.

On the other hand, the NTV came up with their special that had the eccentric Posani Muralikrishna along with the suave and sophisticated Murali Mohan. While Murali Mohan's stand was more against the Congress party, it appeared that Posani was hitting directly at Rajasekhar. Some say it is trouble invited by Rajasekhar himself.

So while the Kabaddi match between the two channels was on the ones to have a laugh about it are as always the general public. But it must be said that such lambasting sessions are signs of mere immaturity and a statement of ego that is being passed without a sensible thought towards service or public welfare.

Alert Alert says YSR...

This is more a battle of minds than power or influence, with the arrival of Megastar Chiranjeevi into politics the issue is now between YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chiru himself when it comes to power but then the megastar has been having more than he can chew as he is pitted with a tough customer.

Recently, Chiru stated that the people in the state are unhappy with the present situation and they want a change. Chiru is still in dreams by stating that. However, YS was quick to lap onto the subject a few months ago and has been working vigorously to ensure that the government projects are driven full force and special focus is given on the rural and interior parts of the state where the major vote bank exists.

So, Chiru's plans to bring about a Tsunami have actually back fired since the situation is not that critical as he has assumed. Instead, he might have to come up with a larger than life performance if he is intending to stay in politics for a long time since the people seem to be satisfied with the current situation.

Challange between PRP vs CONGRESS

For the firs time, Praja Rajyam Party has openly accepted the challenge thrown by the Congress on development of the State.

Reacting to the challenge made by Information Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy to Chiranjeevi to show that there was no development in the State, PRP leader K S R Murthy and others on Monday said they were accepting the challenge. They pointed out that the so-called development was only superficial, which was grossly inadequate to improve the living conditions of the people.

'If there is so much development, why the people are still agitating for land, fertilizers, seeds, rising prices, drinking water and medical facilities in remote areas? Let the Congress come out for an open debate on all these issues," the PRP leaders said.

So, the straight battle between the PRP and the Congress has begun. Let us watch the tamasha!

He follows father foot steps....by checking his videos

Balakrishna's guru in film acting is none other than his father NTR. Now he turned the guru again for his political speeches as well. Chandrababu Naidu felt that Balakrishna needs thorough training to speak on dais and for the purpose he has found that the best way would be giving orientation for him by showing the speech videos of legend NTR. Balakrishna should now learn to adopt the constructiveness in speech by watching his father's harangues.

Balakrishna is going to learn the nuances before he sounds his first political campaigning speech in Yuva Garjana at Guntur in the month of October. The motive of the speech is to pump in confidence among the party cadre and also pull the attention of voters. While Chiranjeevi is going in his way, Balakrishna, his filmy opponent is vying with him on political arena as well.

Chandrababu believes that film stars influence voters and he took the examples of Jayaprada, Ghattamaneni Krishna, Krishnam Raju and many. Now we have to see how far the impact of Balayya babu would fall on voters.

PRP party fund is 1600cr!!!

If you think that you have it in you to make it to the 'Praja Rajyam' party established by Megastar Chiranjeevi then here are the numbers that you need to be prepared with when it comes to investment. We are talking about the money and according to our reliable sources, these are the numbers for the game.

There is news that PRP is expecting his party members to give Rs 4 crores just for the memberships and given the 293 assembly seats, the amount touches Rs 1172 crores. Apart from that, there are 40 seats for parliament and for this the investment required is Rs 10 crores which takes the total number to Rs 400 crores.

All in all, the total amount is expected to be around Rs 1600 crores and given the size of it, 'Praja Rajyam' is more like a national level party looking at its funds. However, the truth remains that if aspiring members are to put up with such type of investment then it is obvious that they would look at recovery from the public only once they get to power. While Chiru has been looking at a service oriented party, such incidents give clear picture about the essence of what is going to be the future of his 'Praja Rajyam' too.

KCR fort ni goud occupy chesthunnadu telusa!!!

Nava Telangana Praja Party president T Devender Goud on Friday virtually conquered Karimnagar, the stronghold of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao.

This is not the first time that Goud visited Karimnagar after quitting the Telugu Desam – before launching the NTPP, he visited Singareni Collieries to attract the coal mine workers. But this time, Goud received tremendous response from the Telangana activists, who were earlier backing the TRS.

A large number of Telangana agitators, including employees, students and other intellectuals attended Goud's meeting. All these forces, once strongly campaigned for the TRS. According to them, if the TRS joins hands with the Telugu Desam, its credibility would completely go down and KCR might even lose the elections in 2009. If Goud can muster support in Karimnagar, he can conquer the other parts of the Telangana too, sources say.

Cartoon of the day

Lets go attack

PRP chief Chiranjeevi might have thought he would enjoy good relationship with leaders of all political parties. But, he is already under attack from all sides.

While the Telugu Desam leaders have already launched virulent attack on him for poaching upon their important leaders and cadres into PRP, for the first time, Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy attacked Chiranjeevi from the dais of a public meeting at Anantapur. He said people should not get carried away by film stars, because politics is not acting. To serve people and understand their problems, one should be part of them and therefore, one cannot expect to become the Chief Minister overnight using his filmy image.

On the other hand, CPI-M State secretary B V Raghavulu also came down heavily on Chiranjeevi for encouraging defections from the Left parties. Those who were expelled from the party on the charges of criminal activities and corruption were also joining Chiranjeevi, who does not seem to have any control over who is coming into his party, Raghavulu said.

Bharatiya Janata Party and even TRS are also critical of the style of functioning of Chiranjeevi. As PCC president D Srinivas said the take off of PRP is not perfect.

PRP Wants Only 'Crorepathis'

There is place for only Crorepathis in Praja Rajyam, especially for key positions. To confer tickets for various candidates, the bank balance is the major criteria for PRP. Dr Vinay, a kapu by caste and a former Union Minister's son, and a key person in Core Committee of PRP, is looking into the aspects of finding right people for bestowing tickets. A minimum Rs 5 Cr should be the bank balance for any aspiring candidate to spend generously in coming elections from Chiranjeevi's party. Chiranjeevi has been saying that he would put an end to corruption. But what an aspiring candidate spends @ Rs 5 Cr during election? If that is the budget he has to spend for liquor and biryani packets, which is again a kind of bribe for people to cast votes. How can a party that gives bribe abstains from accepting? Things are ad hoc in PRP right now. Inside news says that if PRP comes to power, Dr Mitra and Allu Aravind will taking the key ministerial positions.

Sonia praises YSR

It is said the best way to reach one's heart is through stomach. Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy did exactly that to win the heart of UPA chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who completely fell to his charm.

Perhaps for the first time, Sonia went to the residence of YSR and that too, in his native Idupulapaya estate, where he took personal care of her. The Chief Minister hosted her a sumptuous lunch, which she has never tasted in her life. In the past, YSR treated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with typical Rayalaseema delicacies like Ragi Sankati and Jonna Rotti. This time, it was Sonia's turn to relish the food.

No wonder, Sonia was very much pleased and promised to grant anything that YSR wanted. She lavished praises on YSR at Anantapur public meeting and described as a role model for the entire nation. Needless to say, it'll be YSR all the way to dictate the issuance of party tickets in the next elections!

Congress ready with 100 crores!!!

TPD President N Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the Congress party is getting ready for next elections with Rs 1,000 crore money earned illegally. While welcoming retired IG Ch Narsaiah into the party Naidu alleged that while TDP is encouraging educated people and people with integrity, on the other hand Congress and some other parties are admitting land grabbers.

Chiry says I have clarity on issue

Chiru responded to criticism saying that he has clarity on politics and social issues. He said that he wants to know in deep the issues of public through his fans.

For those who are saying that the party has no clarity on peoples’ issues, our party manifesto will answer said Chiru.

Chiru said that his fans are his great strength. He added that he will reach the public very soon and reply to his distracters.

PRP spokesman, Dr Mitra expressed anguish over the reports in some newspapers that there are no public (praja) in Praja Rajyam. He questioned then how the gates are broken to meet Chiru.

Mitra said that in the party office, there is festive mood every day and he had not seen this in any party in India.

PRP lo VV Vinayak's Father ready to join!!

VV Vinayak's father is planning to get a place in Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party as per the inside news. Vinayak's family has been ardent fans of Chiranjeevi.

Director Vinayak is also inclined towards politics but he is not ready to sacrifice his film career for that at this time. Hence he is encouraging his father who has got better hold and fame n his native place to join PRP and serve as per the directions of its head Chiranjeevi.

It is good that even the celebrity fan VV Vinayak is also showing his loyalty with this deed

TDP endhuku chiru medha target chesindhi??

TDP leaders are now attacking Chiranjeevi and speaking ill about the Praja Rajyam Party. It's not only Roja but everybody including Yerran Naidu, Nagam Janardana Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav are talking about Chiru and his party. Initially TDP never uttered a word against PRP. But when PRP started saying that it is going to form government in coming elections and when claimed to be the best alternative for Congress, the TDP couldn't digest that. Chandrababu said that Chiranjeevi is day dreaming just by sitting between four walls. When Naidu said that, the other leaders have followed him. On the other hand the exodus of people joining into PRP from TDP is growing big day by day. As of now, about 72 leaders left TDP and joined PRP. This is damaging the morale of many existing TDP leaders.

Media planning to play with chiru

While the trend of yatras has picked up in the political section, megastar Chiranjeevi is not far behind and now he has announced that his yatra will begin on the 26th of this month. Now, this has given the right chance for all the media chaps to come up with a direct interaction with the leader.

There is news that the media folks are gearing up with some special set of questions which will not only test the political prowess of Chiru but also his thoughts and reactions to issues that surround the state. It has often been noticed that Chiru has been dodging many sensitive questions with the excuse of later and when the time comes but now it is not going to be the same.

The other challenge for him would be when he gets into the people with his yatra and learning their real life issues to handle. For now, it is the media who will be barraging the Praja Rajyam founder with their sharpest questions and it will be interesting to see what he does this time.

Tempo around YS JAGAN

Vijayawada: A section of the Congress leaders are building tempo around Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's son, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, as an electrifying force for youth.

These sections of leaders, who are already loyal to YS, see a greater force in Jagan and want him to be active in politics. The leaders have been holding meetings across the State inviting Jagan into active politics.

Jagan, on his part, is maintaining distance from such invitations as he wishes to concentrate more on his media line, rather than the political line. The ABC audited report of Sakshi is scheduled to arrive by the end of September or in the first week of October, which would give a standard to the newspaper. It is said that Jagan is leaving no stone unturned to grab the tag of "Largest Circulated Daily" which is now with Eenadu. The tag would help the paper get more advertisements and make it self-sufficient, which is now running on losses.

After the ABC auditing, Jagan, according to the inside sources, is planning to stretch his hands on his television channel. He had already handpicked a handful of journalists for the channel. The launching of the channel would follow the English daily.

As the media agenda is too big, Jagan wants to pay more attention to this than politics. However, his political advisors have also cautioned him against losing the political glamour, which he enjoys now as son of the Chief Minister.

"Once Jagan is active in the Congress, he would be like Rahul for Andhra Pradesh," is what a section of leaders say with confidence. These leaders are now pinning all their hopes on the political entry of Jagan and are ready to follow him as they did for YS during Padayatra before 2004 elections.

Her Astrology Affecting Chiranjeevi

The power of astrology is something that has been ruling the hearts and minds of many in our state and things get more intense when it comes to the bigwigs. The list includes the family of Megastar Chiranjeevi too. While the horoscope of Chiru has been under scrutiny from all angles, here is an inside truth to his success.

Believe it or not but then it is being said that the life of Megastar Chiranjeevi has actually taken a golden turn after the birth of Srija in the family. It is heard that Srija is the girl who has got a very powerful horoscope and it is due to that Chiru had reached some really towering heights in his career and fame.

As can be seen, the moment Srija got married and went away with her beloved Sirish Bharadwaj, trouble began for Chiru with the political tensions, dimes of father, Nandini's case, Nalini's Csae, problems at home and outside and other issues. Inside sources say that Chiru has been in touch with Srija through the phone after the birth of his grandchild. Let us see how this works for him. But astrologers say that the power of her horoscope has gone to her husband Sirish Bharadwaj now as she got married. Now Chiranjeevi has to struggle and win only with his 'sankalpam' and few virtues in his horoscope.

Both are poor!!

We all know that a 60 year old actor has come amidst people as leader and turned CM 25 years ago. The journalist who has got acquaintance with NTR those days has revealed certain facts to a News Paper. He said that he asked a few questions to NTR when he announced the party and mentioned this: "What is the agenda of your party? Are you right to the center or left to the center"? Then NTR replied, "Ours is a regional party and we have no connection with Center at all". That was the political ignorance of NTR those days.

"But that ignorance was not projected in big way in News Paper due to the agreement he had with Ramoji Rao", the journalist said.

The journalist also said, "NTR used to talk in grandiloquence to bluff people as if he knows lots of things. As it was difficult for him to communicate he used to confuse people with the 'heavy language' which people do not understand. NTR never used to read News Papers those days and he was a complete illiterate in politics by the time he announced his party. Chiranjeevi is a bit better than him. He reads News Papers at least. NTR turned CM by pretending as a politician with vision and with the help of News Paper, Eenadu. Now Chiranjeevi also needs such a support. We all know how Chiranjeevi fumbled while reading the agenda that was prepared by some other person, during the announcement of party on August 26th. But media is not that generous like in 1982. It is rampant now and battering Chiranjeevi highlighting the loopholes and weak points".

No one, including NTR, expect that he would sweep and win in 1983. But that happened miraculously-thanks to the hysteria of people. Congress leaders, those days, said that NTR would certainly lose in elections and he has to go back to Madras with bag and baggage. Had NTR lost, the same Congress leaders would have made it big scene stating that their prediction hadn't gone wrong. NTR tried to develop alliance with many parties and finally decided to join with Menaka Gandhi's 'Sanjay Vichar Manch' which has no recognition among public at all.

Congress is 125 years old, TDP is 25 and Chiranjeevi party has just born. There would certainly be tremendous difference among the experience and outlook of these parties. Even Chandrababu has no proper view on issues like Telengana and how Chiranjeevi can have? Chandrababu is pointing out the authority of relatives in Chiranjeevi's party. But what he is doing with Balakrishna, Hari Krishna, NTR and Kalyan Ram? Four fingers point on us while we point one on a person. To sum up, we can say Chandrababu and YSR are rough politicians and they know how to play cards as per time and trend. But Chiranjeevi is very poor in such things as well as political knowledge like NTR when he started party.

Another TDP leader joins in chiru's party

The political migrations to Praja Rajyam, floated recently by Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, continued with former TDP minister K Vidyadhar Rao on Monday joining the party along with his followers.

Rao, who held several key positions in TDP during his 25 year long political career, was expelled from the regional party a few months ago for openly supporting Chiranjeevi and predicting that the matinee idol would become the next Chief Minister.

People are looking up to Chiranjeevi to provide clean and corruption-free government that is wedded to moral values, Rao said while vowing to work for Praja Rajyam's success in the next years elections.

"I am confident that he will herald the much-needed change," Rao, a four-time legislator from West Godavari district, said at Praja Rajyam office here.

Asserting that he was not aspiring for any position in the party, Rao, who had served in the cabinets of late N T Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu, said he wanted to contribute his mite in realising the dreams of Chiranjeevi and ushering in genuine social justice in the state.

"Chiranjeevi has inspired countless youths to take to social service and is keen on working for social justice. I will be happy to be part of this mission," Rao, who had also served as Deputy Floor Leader of TDP in the past, said.

Welcoming him into the party fold, Chiranjeevi said the former TDP leaders vast experience would be an asset for new party.

Chiranjeevi launched the party before a mammoth gathering at the temple town of Tirupati on August 26.

He is now gearing up for a state-wide tour, raising expectations among his fans that he will re-create the magic of legendary hero NTR who had created a record by storming to power within nine months of forming Telugu Desam Party in 1983.

Chiranjeevi's political entry has triggered desertions from the main players--Congress and TDP.

Soon after the actor's announcement of political foray, senior Congress MP from Narsapur Harirama Jogaiah quit the party and Lok Sabha membership and joined Chiranjeevi's party.

The TDP Rajya Sabha member C Ramachandraiah, former MP and Rayalaseema strongman B Nagireddy and his wife Shobha had also resigned from TDP and joined the actor's camp.
