Telugu Desam star campaigner Nandamuri Balakrishna is not interested in contesting Lok Sabha; and is more enthusiastic about contesting the Assembly elections.If one were to read between the lines of his statement, one can easily understand his intentions. Balaiah is eyeing on the Chief Minister's post sooner or later. If the Telugu Desam comes to power, Balaiah has every right to stake claim for the CM's post, suggesting his brother-in-law Chandrababu Naidu go to national politics as a king maker. Thus, he can bring pressure on Naidu through his fans and party cadres to concede his demand. If Naidu insists on being the CM, there can even be a coup in a couple of years down the line.
That is the reason why Naidu is very keen on sending Balaiah to Lok Sabha, so that there would not be any hurdle for him in the State. And Balaiah is trying to checkmate his bava's plans. Good, but first see that TD comes to power!
