The road shows of megastar and Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi have turned virtually nightmares for the people.

During his road show at Dharmavaram in Anantapur district on Monday, there was a big stampede of crowds, resulting in the death of two youth. The crowds were in such large numbers that it was virtually impossible for the police to control them. The mob tried to run after Chiru's convoy, which resulted in a stampede.

What is more, the local authorities are simply obeying the orders of the Congress leaders and creating troubles for Chiru's tour. In Anantapur, the authorities have disconnected power supply in the areas where Chiru is touring. The authorities say power cuts are being imposed as a precautionary measure in a big to avoid shocks to people who are mounting electricity poles to see Chiranjeevi, but the PRP leaders say it is a deliberate attempt to obstruct Chiru shows during the nights.
