Behind The Scene: This KCR is incorrigible!

The state executive committee meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi went about on expected lines: all the party leaders “unanimously” endorsed the leadership of its president K Chandrasekhara Rao and wanted that he would continue to be their leader forever.

Well, that was the picture given to media persons outside. But what went on inside was said to be something different. The TRS president, who spoke for most of the time, virtually blackmailed the party leaders stating that if they do not accept his leadership, he would disband the party altogether. “I have certain plans to take the party forward. Those who do not accept my strategies can go out,” he said.

Apparently, KCR is confident that those who go out of the party would not have any future. Forget Telangana, these leaders have to have some political identity for the next five years. They would lose their credibility among the people, if they jump into other parties. So for good or bad, they have to be in the TRS, so that their political future would be secure. That’s KCR’s strategy!

Is T-Bhavan KCR's own property?

A debate is going on in political circles following the reports that rebel Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders might lay siege to Telangana Bhavan, the party’s headquarters at Banjara Hills.

On Sunday, TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s follower Yennam Srinivasa Reddy, who unsuccessfully contested for MLC seat and also tried for Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seat, staged a revolt against the boss. He addressed a press conference right in Telangana Bhavan and demanded that KCR resigned from the party president’s post and vacate the Telangana Bhavan. The police also made huge bandobust at the Bhavan, following a complaint from KCR’s loyalists.

Inquiries revealed that had foreseen the situation long ago and ensured that the building was registered in his name, rather than in the name of the party. Perhaps, he might have sensed that there would be split in the TRS one day and there was a possibility of revolt against him for betraying the Telangana cause. So, he took that care.

No need to give any explanation: KCR

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao seem to have become highhanded in his behaviour, eversince the BJP leaders started giving him a lot of importance and projecting a larger than life size image of himself.

Reacting to the media criticism on his decision to join the NDA, the TRS president arrogantly said there was no need to give any explanation to the media. “I have done what I feel is right. In 2004, we supported the Congress and this time, we believe that the NDA will grant Telangana. That’s it. What is wrong in it?” he asked. He prophesied that the NDA would get not less than 225 Lok Sabha seats this time and would form the government. “Political equations are fast changing at the national level. The so-called Third Front has no shape at all so far. It is certain that the NDA would form the government at the centre,” he said.

What if NDA doesn’t come to power, KCR?

There is a wide discussion going on in the political circles as to whether Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s decision to support the National Democratic Alliance will help the Telangana cause or not.

According to one argument, KCR’s strategy will work, only if the NDA comes to power at the Centre. And it will help KCR realise his goal of achieving separate Telangana.

But what happens if the NDA does not come to power? Then TRS would end up nowhere. It cannot come back to the Third Front, because the Left parties would kick it out. If KCR wants to go back to the Congress-led UPA, too, there would not be any takers. Moroever, KCR will have to do so at the cost of Telangana, since the UPA will anyway not give the Telangana state. So, it has to remain an untouchable.

People are arguing that KCR should have he should have waited till the election results before choosing the NDA or Third Front.

KCR blackmailing for Cabinet posts

The Telugu Desam Party is angry with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s statement that he would even go with the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA, if the latter forms the government at the Centre, to achieve his goal of Telangana.

TRS leaders said KCR’s statement did not surprise them, because everybody knows his double standard attitude. “We know that KCR is playing a gamble with us. But, unfortunately for him, the people have rejected him in the elections; you will see that the TRS would hardly get a double digit in the elections. He is going to Delhi not to press for Telangana, but to bargain with the BJP leadership for a Cabinet berth or two for his party MPs if the NDA forms the government,” a senior TD leader said.

The TDP leaders made it clear that the purpose of forging alliance with the TRS was served, as the Mahakootami fared well in the Telangana region. “Our understanding is only for the state. We are not bothered whether the TRS would go with the NDA or any other alliance at the Cenre,” they said.

It is all work and no play for KCR even after polls

While chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu are set to take a break after long gruelling days of campaigning, it looks like it is all work and no play for TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

While the CM is scheduled to take a one-week break to cool off at Kulu-Manali hill station in Himachal Pradesh next week, Naidu is likely to go to Singapore on holiday. KCR, however, is planning to go to New Delhi on Sunday and interact with Sharad Pawar, Mayawati, Ajit Singh, and some ‘important’ BJP leaders to explore the options for the third front in the national postpoll scenario.

Besides, KCR will meet other party leaders to seek their support for the cause of Telangana. KCR is likely to meet BJP leader L K Advani as the right-wing party had promised to grant Telangana within 100 days of coming to power.

FOr Casting vote KCR spents 1.5 lakhs!!!

Believe it or not, it cost Rs 1.5 lakh for Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao to cast his vote.

KCR, who was campaigning in Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency from where he is contesting, had to flow in helicopter to his native place Chintamadaka of Siddipet mandal in Medak district, where he was registered as voter. He came by road up to Hyderabad International Airport and from there, he took a helicopter to go to Chintamadaka and cast his vote. Later, he flew back to Mahbubnagar.

The cost of heli-hopping and making arrangements for landing of helicopter at Chintamadaka was to the tune of Rs 1.5 lakh, party sources said.

KCR has no different from prostitute

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao is no different from a prostitute, says his former colleague Mandadi Satyanarayana Reddy.

According to him, if a prostitute sells her own body, KCR was selling the TRS party itself for the sake of money. The Telangana issue had taken a backseat and money making had become a paramount. “At least prostitute like Madhuravani in the Telugu drama Kanyasulkam have some self-respect. But KCR doesn’t even have that. He mortgaged Telangana Talli with Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu,” he alleged.

Well said, Mandadi. But did you forget that you, too, had paid lakhs of rupees to KCR to buy ticket in 2004. Were you not a prostitute then, sir?

Is this True relationship!!!

A new relationship seems to be blossoming between TRS head KCR and lady Amitabh Vijayashanti. But this is said to be raising few eyebrows across the political circles for good reasons. Apparently, there were many instances when KCR had performed poojas and other events with his wife by his side especially in Telanagana Bhavan.

But now, this place seems to have been taken by Vijayashanti as it is being noted that such events are having her presence. This is said to be giving negative signal to voters and watching them sitting side by side, the Telangana people are said to be disappointed.

They are not happy about KCR and are saying that this is giving a wrong projection society wise and even politically it is not looking impressive. KCR is known for his stubborn attitude but if his own people feel otherwise, then it is time he should consider changing the seating positions. The TV Channels have been showing both of them performing poojas together. In fact, no brother and sister will perform pooja sitting side by side and following the mantras of pujari. Only wife and husband does that, say scholars.

KCR c/o Gandaragolam

Masking of Telangana Talli amidst of allegations of ticket sales in Telangana Rashtra Samithi, arson in Praja Rajyam Party offices all over the State by distruntled party workers for denial of tickets to their leaders and confusion in the Telugu Desam camp over seat sharing with the Mahakootami partners – have been the highlights in the media on Sunday.

In fact, the entire front page of Sakshi daily has been dedicated to exposing chinks in the Opposition camp. It carried Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s election campaign, but it was also confined to attacking the Opposition. The developments in the rival camps must have been definitely a positive signal for YSR. Another important development on the political front is some minor changes in the list of candidates of the Congress. Sulking candidates like deputy speaker Kutuhalamma and Younis Sultan finally got the place in the list of Congress candidates for the assembly elections.

On the other hand, TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s shifting to Mahbubnagar under pressure from his friend Vijayashanti, who will now be contesting from Medak, has also been an interesting development. The Election Commission’s decision to give notice to KCR and others on allegations of selling of tickets is the second lead in Andhra Jyothy daily. Eenadu carried an interesting item – “KCR c/o Gandaragolam” which clearly exposes the TRS president’s chaotic condition.

In spite of so many developments in the Opposition camp, Eenadu chose to write a negative story against the Congress, stating that its strength in Lok Sabha would come down and its tally might not get be more than 119 seats. At the same time, it published a “Naidu-baaka” story, stating that TD president N Chandrababu Naidu is not sleeping even for three hours due to ticket distribution exercise. What more can we expect from Ramoji Rao?

KCR son dilema!!

There are two contradictory reports in Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy on Monday on the contest by Telangana Rashtra Samithi general secretary K Rama Rao, son of TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao, in the coming elections.

Eenadu report says Ramu will contest for Lok Sabha from Karimnagar, making his father to shift his constituency to Medak. Andhra Jyothy report says Ramu’s name has been finalised for Karimnagar Assembly constituency and that his father would contest as usual from Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat.

So, what is right? Inquiries revealed that both the stories are correct in their own way, because Ramu had confused reporters of both the dailies by making different statements. He reportedly told them about both the possibilities, but no decision had been taken yet. He is still in a dilemma whether to go to LS or to the Assembly. So, there is the confusion.

MRPS was used against Left by KCR

In yet another instance of crooked politicking, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao is learnt to be provoking Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi president Manda Krishna Madiga to demand the seats being preferred by Communists.

Madigas are dominant in several parts of Khammam, Nalgonda, Anantapur and Chitoor districts, apart from parts of northern Telangana. KCR, in his talks with Manda Krsihna, is learnt to have told him that the issue of categorisation of SCs would be resolved if separate Telangana State is formed. So, it is essential that more number of pro-Telangana MLAs and MPs get elected.

Therefore, he asked Krishna Madiga to ask for the seats of Communist, since they would any way stall separate Telangana. That way, the TRS could be safe. Will the Leftists keep silent?

KCR Scary on ????

TRS president KCR made a surprise announcement on Tuesday: that his nephew and sitting MLA T Harish Rao only would be TRS candidate for Siddipet Assembly constituency.

There was a serious talk in the party circles that KCR would field his son K Rama Rao from Siddipet, which is his native constituency and that he would shift Harish Rao to either Ramayampet or Sanga Reddy or some other suitable constituency in Medak district.

This is because Siddipet is a safe seat and he does not want his son Rama Rao to lose the elections at any cost.

However, Harish Rao brought pressure on KCR through the party workers, who are by now loyal to him. Harish nurtured Siddipet constituency very well and knows each and every family in it. If Harish is shifted, it might prove counter productive to the TRS, since KCR knows that Harish is capable of joining hands with the Congress secretly and defeat Rama Rao. Hence, the change in mind!

KCR ki Full Bottle !!!

Telangana Vidyarthi Sangham has printed pamphlets addressing KCR. They have warned KCR looking at his style of working for Telangana. It is known that he has been with Congress for tenure and before elections he joined with TDP.

Telangana Vidyarthi Sangham members felt that KCR has lost vision on his movement and simply spending time sitting in his home and boozing. There is a mention of that in the pamphlet as well.

The pamphlet mentioned that KCR is asking for a full bottle everyday and spoiling his health as well as the movement. The way he talks holding a mike is senseless and like a drunkard, felt Telangana Vidyarthi Sangham.

The pamphlet also mentioned that KCR is focusing only on procuring Rajya Sabha seat for his daughter and Deputy CM position for his son. And he is planning to sit in Delhi becoming a Central Minister. Beyond all this he is pulling Prof Jaya Shankar every night to give company for him consuming 1 or 2 pegs. He buried his Telangana ideology on a whole, is the essence.

It is said that KCR has decided to move in group but not in single for the fear of naxals and Telangana people who are hot on KCR. Right now only Chandrababu should save KCR.

While TRS people are saying that this pamphlet activity was carried by Congress in the disguise of Telangana Vidyarti Sangham, some reliable sources say that it's carried by Devender Goud.

Beaware KCR !!!

It's already known news that a fire accident took place in Telangana Bhavan and the place where the Vishwa Shanti Yagam is being performed has got burnt down. It's implied that 'ashanthi' took place where 'shanti yagam' is being performed.

This entire episode is being attributed to astrologer Ramanachary who proposed the yagam and also predicted that KCR will be enjoying Raja Yogam.

The man who predicted KCR's Rajayogam couldn't predict the mishap that happened now. He is the man who is moving around KCR just for the sake of selfish reasons but nothing else. If KCR believes all these sycophants around him, his political career will also be burnt down like Yagam!!!

Ramulamma kosam KCR seat sacrifice

Looks like Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao has fallen flat for film actress-turned-Telangana protagonist Vijayshanti a ka Ramulamma.

So much so that KCR is now ready to sacrifice his favourite Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat to Vijayashanti, if the party sources are to be believed. Though Vijayashanti is interested in contesting from Warangal, her so-called native district, KCR is learnt to have asked her to shift to Karimnagar, which is a safe seat.

There are different reasons, apart from his new-found affinity towards Vijayshanti, for KCR sacrificing Karimnagar seat. First of all, KCR is unhappy with the voters of Karimnagar for humiliating him by giving a meagre majority of 15,000 votes in the last year's by-election.

Secondly, he has received information that Praja Rajyam Party has made a lot of inroads into the TRS vote bank in Karimangar district and Chiranjeevi and Pavan Kalyan are particularly targeting this constituency. So, it is better to make Vijayshanti a scapegoat!

Vijayashanti Yagam or Vishwashanti Yagam

The Vishwashanti Yagam being performed by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Vijayarama Rao, supposedly for world peace and achievement of Telangana, has become a subject of ridicule, even within the TRS circles.

A veteran Telangana protagonist, who has been friend, philosopher and guide for the TRS president, himself was found cracking a joke on the yagam at Telangana Bhavan. Apparently irritated at the way KCR was pampering heroine-turned-Telangana leader Vijayashanti, this gentleman wondered whether KCR was performing "Vishwashanti Yagam" or "Vijayashanti Yagam."

Though KCR described Vijayashanti as his sister, those who is aware of his habits could make out his feelings while shaking hands with her on the occasion of her joining the TRS. They say KCR might perform Vijayashanti Yagam, too, some time later, if not in public!

CCC VS YSR : A special article

The time has come for the people of Andhra Pradesh and for that matter, the people of India to choose their next set of leaders to run the country for the next five years. Narrowing down, the focus has been on the political scenario in Andhra given the fact that there have been few really dramatic changes in the past year or two. So it is not just the Telugu folk but the entire nation that is keenly looking forward to see the outcome of this poll.

The strong contender is none other than Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who is the current Chief Minister but then this time he has got his strongest opponents in the form of the C-C-C triangle. They are Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP leader and head of the 'Maha Kootami', Chandrasekhar Rao, the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and last but not the least Chiranjeevi, head and founder of the Praja Rajyam Party. So it has become imperative for many political analysts to actually look at what sort of impact this trio will have on the chances of YS becoming the CM again.

Chandrababu Naidu who has been showing enough desperation to come back to power has now assembled the small forces to form a 'Maha Kootami' and not stopping at that he has also brought in the cine glamour in the form of the Nandamuri clan. However, it is widely believed that all this is a tight rope walk given the ideology of the political parties that are part of the 'Kootami' and the sudden switch on the Telangana issue has definitely cost the TDP a fair amount as it looked more a political decision than considering the sentiment of the people.

Whether Telangana is coming or not, every political party barring Congress has begun to sing the same song and it must be admitted that not many of them are really the true Telangana fighters or do not even know what the essence of all this is about. For now, the torch bearer for this happens to be KCR but then his association with Naidu has put him in the back seat and it is being noticed that he has been maintaining a low profile contrasting to his rough tongued nature. Sources inside TRS camp are saying that KCR has resigned to the fact that it is going to be YSR again.

Megastar Chiranjeevi who has come in with the image of 'Andarivadu' has been tasting a slice of reality and what it is like when you go into the midst of a common man and try to resolve the issues and problems. Though the hype of Chiru has been high, by no means was it able to create a Tsunami that was expected like the one in the year 1983 when the legendary NTR established the Telugu Desam Party. Already, there are reports that internal dissatisfaction has been creeping up slowly inside the PRP camp and the senior leaders who left their long associated parties to join Chiru are now said to be cursing themselves since they are not getting the due recognition. So it will be a backyard war first for Chiru before he actually takes on the regime of YSR.

All this apart, it is being said that YS has become a hero in the towns and interior areas of Andhra Pradesh given his dynamic initiatives like 'Arogya Sri' 'Indiramma Padhakam' and many other civil projects that he has undertaken towards agriculture. The rural and agricultural sectors are said to be quite positive on him and though the presence of C-C-C has been quite exhaustive and extensive for the various reasons, all roads are leading to Gandhi Bhavan for the next celebration of power. Let us wait and see how this goes.

3.30 woke up wah re wha!!!!

Surprising as it might sound, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao will wake up at "Brahmi Muhurtham" on Wednesday.

KCR's purohits told him that he should come to Telangana Bhavan along with his wife and other family members at any cost by 4 am to kick start the Vishwa Santi Mahayagnam on the premises of TRS office. Which means, he has to get up at 3.30 am and get ready for the yagam. More than 100 vedic pundits are participating in the Maha Yagam, which is primarily aimed at establishing peace and order in the world, but is essentially meant for the success of TRS in general and KCR in particular in the next elections.

It is rather a pleasant surprise for the party workers to see KCR in the early hours, which is of course a rare scene. Normally, KCR goes to sleep at that time and wakes up not before 11 am. Let us hope, at least from now, KCR will learn to get up early and go into the people with fresh mind, rather than in a drunken state!

KCR secret enquires on Cong Plan!!!

It appears Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao's body is in Maha Kootami, but the soul is still with the Congress party.

New Delhi sources say KCR still nurtures some hopes on the positive decision likely to be taken by the Congress party on Telangana demand. He spent the whole Sunday calling media persons in Delhi to find out what was happening in the Congress camp. He also made secret inquiries about what had transpired between Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Pranab Mukherjee on the Telangana issue.

In fact, KCR reportedly told one of the media persons that he was not wholeheartedly in favour of joining hands with Telugu Desam, but was compelled to take the decision only because the Congress high command was succumbing to YSR's pressure tactics. He sought media persons's advice as to whether there was still a possibility of restoring ties with the UPA. Do it KCR, then see how people will spit at your face for changing colours so frequently!
