The Real War Starts : JAGAN vs RAMOJI RAO and BABU
Keeping all this apart the most talked about palace in AP belongs to Ramoji Rao that was reported by a media blog to be worth Rs 60 Cr 4 years back. The news article ‘Rajakota Rahasyam’, about Ramoji’s palace, was the most favorite forwarded mail. Many say that Ramoji’s Rao’s house is far expensive than that of YS Jagan’s present palace that is in discussion."

Naidu surrounded by 'thotti gang' and buffoons

Within a month of facing a debacle in the general elections, the Telugu Desam Party is feeling the heat from within. While it was only a couple of days ago that former Chief Whip and senior leader Gadde Babu Rao resigned from the TDP, stating that there was no point in continuing in the party which had lost people’s support, it was the turn of former minister and TDP senior MLA from Kovur constituency in Nellore district Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy to raise the banner of revolt against party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
In an open letter to Naidu, Prasanna Kumar Reddy criticised the stand taken by the party leadership in opposing Congress nominee N Kiran Kumar Reddy as the Speaker of the Assembly. The party’s image had taken a severe beating with such wrong decisions, he said.
“You should have consulted senior leaders of the party before taking decisions on such important issues. But, you are surrounded by a bunch of buffoons and thotti gang. It is unfortunate that you always go by their advice and take wrong steps,” Prasanna Kumar said in the letter. He pointed out that if the TDP could get a good number of seats in the recent elections, the credit would go to Jr NTR and Nandamuri Balakrishna, grandson and son of former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao respectively, who campaigned extensively for the party

Naidu concedes defeat in advance?

Is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu conceding defeat of his party well in advance?
One would get this doubt after listening to his talk at the party office after the announcement of exit polls by various channels. He told the party workers not to get disheartened by the exit poll results, but he asked them to be prepared for any result. “Whatever may be my position or post after the elections, I continue to remain with the party workers and work for the interest of the people,” he said.
He also admitted that though there were reports that male voters preferred the Congress, women voters preferred the TDP to the Congress. What is more, he blamed it on the grassroot level party workers for failing to take the high-level corruption of the Congress into the people effectively. What does all this show? Naidu’s lack of confidence on the party’s victory. Better, be prepared for the worst. At least, you will get better results.

Naidu to visit Switzerland?

Where is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu going on holiday this summer?
Though TDP sources confirmed that Naidu, along with his family members, would be going on a 10-day holiday from Monday, they could not say where the family is going. Even the ticket bookings and other arrangements were made by Naidu’s Lokesh through internet; hence, party people are not aware of it.
However, there is a talk in NTR Bhavan that Naidu would be going to Switzerland, primarily to chill out. Moreover, doctors have advised him to go to a cooler place, since his skin got damaged during electioneering.
There could also be another reason for Naidu’s Switzerland visit: he would be checking his Swiss Bank accounts and might divert the money, in the wake of reports that the new government at the Centre might order an inquiry into the Indian money in Swiss Banks!

'Don't poke your nose in Kuppam'

For the first time in the last two decades, Naidu campaigned in Kuppam and stayed put for the whole day in the constituency, fearing that the Congress might use all its energies to defeat him. The Congress has gained ground in the segment in the last five years. While the Congress claims that the developmental schemes helped the party improve its position in the segment, TDP workers allege that the Congress is resorting to all sorts of machinations like threatening TDP workers and foisting cases on them.
Naidu wanted to give moral support to his party workers who complained to him about goondaism of the Congress. He urged Kuppam voters to reject the money, silver ornaments, liquor offered by rivals and support him for a model Kuppam to develop and improvement of conditions in the State. “Brothers, be vigilant for two more days. Do not fall prey to the decpetive policies of Congress,’’ Naidu appealed to voters.

Fact Sheet: 'Shashti Poorthi' for Babu!

Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu has completed his “shashti poothi,” though he did not hold any celebrations.
At a simple function, he cut his cake during his electioneering in Nellore, amidst party workers and leaders. His partymen conducted blood donation camps in his name. However, Shashti Poorthi is an important event in anybody’s life. It is like a rebirth to a person. So, people celebrate it on a grand scale. One does not know why Naidu wanted it a low key affair; but his partymen say he would make it a grand celebration if he comes to power.

Chandrababu: 'Chiru Is Dangerous Than YSR'

In a special interview in flight, with TV5, Chandrababu Naidu was asked to express his opinion on Chiranjeevi.
Then he immediately started saying, “I have to first explain about YSR to say about Chiranjeevi. YSR is a cruel factionist. He helps only the people those he like. He toes down the people those are not liked by him. That is very dangerous for democratic system. But Chiranjeevi is more dangerous, because, he is ‘asamardhudu’. The rule of an ‘asamardhudu’ will be more dangerous for democracy. It took 1 month for me to prepare for manifesto. It took one month for me to filed candidates. But Chiranjeevi hardly spent any time on both. Moreover he has no manifesto. He has no understanding also. His brother in law works on fielding candidates. Some other person writes script. Some other fellow reads the so called manifesto. It’s like cinema shooting in PRP”.
In fact, Chandrababu came out with his expression in very hard manner today.

Naidu backstabs Kootami partners!
So, the TDP would be contesting in 221 assembly and 29 Lok Sabha seats; TRS in 45-09 seats, CPI and CPI-M in 14-09 seats each. Sakshi daily, supporting the Congress party, was hoping that the Mahakootami would crumble and split; but it did not happen. So, it attacked Chandrababu Naidu directly, saying he had backstabbed even his friends by asking his party leaders to file nominations in the alliance seats, thereby blackmailing them. It said Naidu’s “jadoo” (Magic) made the alliance partners succumb.
On the other hand, Andhra Jyothy and Eenadu gave positive stories, saying that the Mahakootami finally materialised with alliance coming to an understanding on seat sharing. Eenadu also gave how rebels are troubling all political parties by filing their nominations as independents. Maximum number of rebels in TDP and PRP filed their papers on the last day of nominations in the first phase. While Andhra Jyothy gave a lot of prominence to Chiranjeevi’s road show in East Godavari in which he attacked the Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Sakshi carried the road show of YSR at Maheshwaram, in which he came down heavily on Mahakootami, where parties are fighting for selling of tickets.
The allotment of symbols to PRP and Lok Satta by the EC is the only other interesting news in the dailies on Tuesday.

Babu athiprema Balakrishna ku Nachaleee!!!

"Chandrababu did not stab my father in the back to usurp power, as it was made out. Rather, he only tried to save the TDP given the circumstances that prevailed at that point of time," Mr. Balakrishna told reporters during campaigning in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district.
"Chandrababu had parted ways with N T Rama Rao only in the interest of the TDP. We (NTR family) have now come into the political arena to save the party and restore its glory," Mr. Balakrishna observed.
In a veiled attack on Chiranjeevi, who launched his Praja Rajyam Party, the TDP leader said some film stars were jumping into politics only to serve their own interests. Mocking at the PRP's social justice slogan, Mr. Balakrishna said the Telugu Desam Party "ensured social justice 25 year ago, right at the time of its birth".
Maintaining that it was for the TDP high command to decide on whether or not to field him in the ensuing elections, Mr. Balakrishna said he would be glad to contest the poll from any constituency in the state.

Its time for TDP Kshudra Rajakeeyam

Now, it is time for political parties to cheat the voters with fake promises. The manifestos announced by Telugu Desam and Praja Rajyam Party have been the subject of heated debates and discussions in the media since Thursday. Obviously, there is a lot of criticism from all quarters, particularly against TD’s manifesto, which virtually promised moon on the earth.
Sakshi has, in its usual style, has taken a critical view of TD’s manifesto and ridiculed the promises heaped by TD president N Chandrababu Naidu on the voters. It also added masala to the story in the form of criticism from Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan, who accused Naidu of resorting to “Kshudra Rajakeeyam” (Dirty politics) and Finance Minister K Rosaiah, who said Naidu was only cheating the people with the manifesto. On the PRP’s manifesto, Sakshi described it as a sentimental assault on the people, since Chiranjeevi only tried to play with the sentiments of women and the poor.
Eenadu reported the contents of both the manifestos without making any comments, while Andhra Jyothy carried an analytical piece as its banner on how the two parties were compelled to announce sops for the poorer sections, only to counter the Congress party, which has already trapped the people with various schemes, notwithstanding their burden on the State exchequer. Under this report, AJ carried two different stories on TD and PRP manifestos, one is about Colour Vision and the other is about Colourful Dreams, respectively.
There are no other major reports in the three dailies. Sakshi and Andhra Jyothy, however, carried brief reports on the exercise being done in the Congress over selection of candidates. Sakshi, in its anchor story on Telugu Desam party’s first list of candidates, disclosed that Balakrishna would be contesting from Hindupur Assembly seat.

TDP promises to cost Rs 20,000 crore

And this was admitted by Naidu himself. However, he says it is not difficult to mobilise funds for the same. “The State government’s revenue has gone up to Rs 70,000 crore a year in the last 10 years.
And it is going by 15-20 per cent every year. Taking this increased revenue into account, it is not difficult to fund the schemes we are proposing,” he said.
Naidu says if corruption is removed and there is a proper channelisation of resources, the schemes can be easily implemented. He recalled an incident of a woman complaining to him during his recent tour in Vizianagaram district that she was not getting even 5 per cent of the promised pension, since the remaining amount was being knocked away by middlemen and local leaders. “If we can avoid this kind of corruption, we can easily implement our schemes,” he said.
Colour TVs to poor says Babu

Poor people in the State can watch the entire world in colour, if Telugu Desam comes to power.
Yes, it is true. Close on the heels of DMK in neighbouring Tamil Nadu State, Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu has promised to supply Colour TVs to all the poor people free of cost. The promise is part of Telugu Desam’s election manifesto, which was released by Naidu at a press conference on Thursday.
Naidu virtually promised heaven on the earth to the poor and middle class. He said all the poor families headed by women would get a monthly allowance of Rs 1500 and the middle class families will get Rs 1,000 each. The money would be directly deposited in the bank accounts of the heads of the family.
The TD president also announced, among others, a comprehensive health scheme for the poor and the middle class, which covers all diseases – from fever to heart diseases. What is more, all the families which would benefit from the fresh promises, would continue to get the benefits out of existing schemes in kind, such as weaker section housing, house sites and land distribution. Now, it is for the people to decide whether Naidu’s promises are believable or unbelievable!

They are angry with Naidu
Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu's remarks that the Collectors are acting like Congress agents has kicked up a row at the Collectors' conference being held at Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Several Collectors found fault with Naidu for making such a comment. They said government was a continuous process, irrespective of change in the ruling parties. "We don't have our own personal agenda. Our duty is only to implement the agenda given by the government of the day. Once the election code of conduct comes into force, we all come under the authority of Election Commission. We cannot side with any political party. How can Naidu attribute motives to us?" a Collector argued angrily.
Ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana lashed out at Naidu for trying to blackmail the officials.

money laundering by YS Jagan says Babu

TDP President and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday demanded that the Centre order an inquiry into illegal financial transactions, including the "money laundering" in 14 "benami" companies promoted by Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy's son Jaganmohan Reddy.
He wanted a judicial probe by a sitting judge into the affairs of Satyam Computers, Maytas Infra, Maytas Properties, the 14 companies promoted by Jaganmohan Reddy and also Heritage Foods owned by his (Naidu's) wife and family.
Initiating a heated debate on the Satyam scandal in the state assembly on Monday, Naidu launched a frontal attack on the Chief Minister alleging that the latter amassed crores of rupees through illicit means, violating all relevant laws in the process.
"SEBI rules were violated. FEMA, FERA and the RBI Acts have been violated and even the Income Tax Act was breached in the functioning of the 14 companies promoted by the Chief Minister's son. The Government of India should immediately conduct an inqury into the gross financial irregularities," Chandrababu said.

Mundhu undhi musalla pandaga babu ki!!!

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu might be on Cloud nine for bringing major opposition parties together to form Maha Kootami, but a lots of troubles are in store for him within his party.
According to party sources, there is a lot of disgruntlement among the party leaders and cadres over the number of seats allotted to Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Apart from the seats it contested in the last Assembly elections, TRS is asking several other crucial seats in Telangana, which is causing a lot of unrest among the ticket aspirants in TD, because in most of these constituencies, TD is very strong. So is the case with the seats being demanded by the Communist parties.
Though Naidu is requesting the party cadres to be prepared for sacrifices, it is unlikely to have any impact on them and in many constituencies, the Maha Kootami might face the problem of TD rebels.
Taking advantage of this situation, Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy is learnt to have asked the local Congress leaders to trap these TD rebels into the Congress fold. If there are any strong candidates among these rebels, Congress might field support them; otherwise, they would be encouraged to split the Oppositon votes. And if the Congress comes to power again, they would get suitable positions.
So, it is not so easy Naidu. You need to do your homework properly before joining hands with the allies.
CCC VS YSR : A special article

The strong contender is none other than Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who is the current Chief Minister but then this time he has got his strongest opponents in the form of the C-C-C triangle. They are Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP leader and head of the 'Maha Kootami', Chandrasekhar Rao, the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and last but not the least Chiranjeevi, head and founder of the Praja Rajyam Party. So it has become imperative for many political analysts to actually look at what sort of impact this trio will have on the chances of YS becoming the CM again.
Chandrababu Naidu who has been showing enough desperation to come back to power has now assembled the small forces to form a 'Maha Kootami' and not stopping at that he has also brought in the cine glamour in the form of the Nandamuri clan. However, it is widely believed that all this is a tight rope walk given the ideology of the political parties that are part of the 'Kootami' and the sudden switch on the Telangana issue has definitely cost the TDP a fair amount as it looked more a political decision than considering the sentiment of the people.
Whether Telangana is coming or not, every political party barring Congress has begun to sing the same song and it must be admitted that not many of them are really the true Telangana fighters or do not even know what the essence of all this is about. For now, the torch bearer for this happens to be KCR but then his association with Naidu has put him in the back seat and it is being noticed that he has been maintaining a low profile contrasting to his rough tongued nature. Sources inside TRS camp are saying that KCR has resigned to the fact that it is going to be YSR again.
Megastar Chiranjeevi who has come in with the image of 'Andarivadu' has been tasting a slice of reality and what it is like when you go into the midst of a common man and try to resolve the issues and problems. Though the hype of Chiru has been high, by no means was it able to create a Tsunami that was expected like the one in the year 1983 when the legendary NTR established the Telugu Desam Party. Already, there are reports that internal dissatisfaction has been creeping up slowly inside the PRP camp and the senior leaders who left their long associated parties to join Chiru are now said to be cursing themselves since they are not getting the due recognition. So it will be a backyard war first for Chiru before he actually takes on the regime of YSR.
All this apart, it is being said that YS has become a hero in the towns and interior areas of Andhra Pradesh given his dynamic initiatives like 'Arogya Sri' 'Indiramma Padhakam' and many other civil projects that he has undertaken towards agriculture. The rural and agricultural sectors are said to be quite positive on him and though the presence of C-C-C has been quite exhaustive and extensive for the various reasons, all roads are leading to Gandhi Bhavan for the next celebration of power. Let us wait and see how this goes.

Are bothe in fools Paradise????

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao have been on cloud nine, ever since the Congress received a minor jolt in the recent byelections to a few Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies.
They are under the impression that the Congress party's days are numbered in the State and that a Grand Alliance of TD-TRS-CPI and CPI-M would completely dismantle the Congress in the next elections.
KCR has gone a step ahead and told his party cadres that if there is a grand alliance, the Congress would not get more than four or five Assembly seats in Telangana and would draw a blank in the Lok Sabha polls.
Political analysts say the Opposition leaders are in a fool's paradise. Though it is not very easy for the Congress to retain its earlier strength in the State, including Telangana region, it is not tough either. Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy knows how to give steer the party in the direction of victory; and he has already started implementing his strategies.
Analysts say it could also be a strategy on the part of Chief Minister to deliberately allow the Opposition leaders to become overconfident and complacent with a few victories in some areas. And as if he is acting tough, he would take action against some Congress leaders, so as to create an impression among the Opposition parties that he got panicky. At the same time, it would also give a message to the overconfident Congress leaders to go on toes and pull up their socks.
Secondly, the Chief Minister will use all his tactics to engineer splits in the rival parties as the elections are nearing so as to upset their calculations at the ground level. He is learnt to have formed a team of his close confidants, led by his bosom friend K V P Ramachandra Rao, to find out loose links in the Opposition parties, who can play spoil sport with the chances of rival candidates. If sources are to be believed, this team has been allocated huge funds to lure such characters and destroy the rival camps.
Thus, it is evident that YSR would go all out in the coming days to save his throne and the party. Does the Opposition have any such strategies?
