The Real War Starts : JAGAN vs RAMOJI RAO and BABU

 Jagan House in Bangalore

The political strategies changed now. previously it was between Jagan and High command(Congress). Now the politics took U-turn and the real war started between Jagan and TDP(Ramoji Rao etc..etc..).

Because of the fight the people are knowing some interesting facts about the political persons assets and money. Well this is good to public and bad to political people.

Ok coming into picture this is what happened today:

"TDP is now planning to make certain things controversial and trying to project YS Jagan in wrong light. That’s good being in opposition. It says about the well known fact that YS Jagan has built a stupendous palace in sprawling 30 acre land near Yelehanka in Bangalore. The way Andhra Jyothy and Eenadu narrated about the place gives a world picture to the people. So, the point to be underlined is that YS Jagan invested just around Rs 15 Cr to procure the land. That is an expensive affair in common man’s point of view but even Chiranjeevi has such a worth house in Jubilee Hills.

Although the land is not as big as that of YS Jagan, price-wise it’s same. Murali Mohan also has got most expensive mansions. Even the character actor Nuthan Prasad has got two big bungalows in Jubilee-Hills area those collectively worth the same. Madala Ravi’s building that is most sought after by many producers for shootings is also worth big. Victory Venkatesh is constructing a mind blowing palace worth many crores in 3 acres of land on a hill in Manikonda.

Keeping all this apart the most talked about palace in AP belongs to Ramoji Rao that was reported by a media blog to be worth Rs 60 Cr 4 years back. The news article ‘Rajakota Rahasyam’, about Ramoji’s palace, was the most favorite forwarded mail. Many say that Ramoji’s Rao’s house is far expensive than that of YS Jagan’s present palace that is in discussion."

Now public has to analyze themselves that who is earning more here. Enjoy the politics.

Balakrishna will not contest ???

Actor and Telugu Desam star campaigner Balakrishna has decided not to contest the polls this time.

Party sources said Balakrishna had informed Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu about his decision a few days ago.

Earlier, considering Balakrishna’s attachment with the Rayalaseema region, Mr Naidu had planned to field him as a candidate either from Hindupur or Kurnool Lok Sabha segments. Sources said there was overwhelming support for Balakrishna from both these places.

The Hindupur Telugu Desam sitting MLA, Mr P. Ranganaayakulu, even offered his seat and announced he will stay away from polls. But ultimately Balakrishna decided to stay away from contesting this polls.

Now, the TD chief, Mr Chandrababu Naidu, has tentatively decided to allot the Kurnool LS seat either to Mr B.T. Naidu who belongs to the backward Boya Valmiki caste or Mr Nimmala Kishtappa, ex-minister.

Meanwhile, Md. Gani will replace Mr Ranganayakulu in Hindupur Assembly segment. The chances of Mr Ranganayakulu getting a ticket appears remote with the decision to field Md Gani.

Telugu desam 2009 manifesto

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

She says Politics is not dancing!!

The attacks and counter-attacks between Praja Rajyam Party mahila wing president Sobha Rani and Telugu Mahila president Roja continue to go unabatedly.

On Tuesday, Sobha said the Election Commission’s directive to political leaders not to resort to personal criticism was aimed only at Roja, who has been attacking Chiranjeevi, Pavan Kalyan and others day in and day out. “At least now, Roja should learn how to behave herself. She must realise that politics is not like dancing in films,” she said.

On her own comments against Roja, the PRP leader defended it saying she had only reacted to Roja’s comments.

Lokesh Helps NTR in Campaign!!!

Looks like Nara Lokesh Babu, only son of Telugu Desam president NChandrababu Naidu is all set to enter active politics now itself.

Though at present, Lokesh is participating in behind the screen activities of the party, he is likely to come before the public along with Jr NTR. In fact, Lokesh, too, participated in the Naidu-Jr NTR interaction at his residence on Tuesday and evinced interest in campaign. However, Naidu asked him not to be hasty, but enter the scene only when it is extremely essential. He, however, could help NTR in giving latest inputs for speaking in public.

Party sources say Lokesh has been coming to NTR Trust Bhavan almost on a regular basis and spending a few hours with party seniors to know how to handle sensitive political issues. Who knows, Lokesh might take control of the party activities one day or the other!

Its time for TDP Kshudra Rajakeeyam

Now, it is time for political parties to cheat the voters with fake promises. The manifestos announced by Telugu Desam and Praja Rajyam Party have been the subject of heated debates and discussions in the media since Thursday. Obviously, there is a lot of criticism from all quarters, particularly against TD’s manifesto, which virtually promised moon on the earth.

Sakshi has, in its usual style, has taken a critical view of TD’s manifesto and ridiculed the promises heaped by TD president N Chandrababu Naidu on the voters. It also added masala to the story in the form of criticism from Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan, who accused Naidu of resorting to “Kshudra Rajakeeyam” (Dirty politics) and Finance Minister K Rosaiah, who said Naidu was only cheating the people with the manifesto. On the PRP’s manifesto, Sakshi described it as a sentimental assault on the people, since Chiranjeevi only tried to play with the sentiments of women and the poor.

Eenadu reported the contents of both the manifestos without making any comments, while Andhra Jyothy carried an analytical piece as its banner on how the two parties were compelled to announce sops for the poorer sections, only to counter the Congress party, which has already trapped the people with various schemes, notwithstanding their burden on the State exchequer. Under this report, AJ carried two different stories on TD and PRP manifestos, one is about Colour Vision and the other is about Colourful Dreams, respectively.

There are no other major reports in the three dailies. Sakshi and Andhra Jyothy, however, carried brief reports on the exercise being done in the Congress over selection of candidates. Sakshi, in its anchor story on Telugu Desam party’s first list of candidates, disclosed that Balakrishna would be contesting from Hindupur Assembly seat.

S V Subba Reddy says 'Regional parties are useless'

He has been there in TDP for more than two decades and this gentleman says regional parties are useless now...Its Fair or Unfair.....Right now in dirty politics it is fair only!!

Coming to picture the Pattikonda MLA S V Subba Reddy an senior leader in the TD, Subba Reddy claims he is senior to Chandrababu Naidu in politics. He is one leader, who addresses Naidu in singular number. And all these years, he has been functioning as uncrowned leader in his constituency and on many an occasion, he defied the whips and orders of the party leadership, but could get away with it because of his seniority and command over his constituency.

This time, Subba Reddy wanted that the ticket be given to his son, but Naidu rejected the demand and preferred K E Prabhakar, an arch rival to Subba Reddy’s family. Within no time, he got invitation from Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy into the Congress. And he now says only national parties like the Congress can provide a new direction to the State and that the regional parties have not delivered goods. That is the power of politics!

TDP promises to cost Rs 20,000 crore

Hold your breath, it requires more than Rs 20,000 crore a year to implement Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu’s promises to the people, if his party comes to power in the next elections.

And this was admitted by Naidu himself. However, he says it is not difficult to mobilise funds for the same. “The State government’s revenue has gone up to Rs 70,000 crore a year in the last 10 years.

And it is going by 15-20 per cent every year. Taking this increased revenue into account, it is not difficult to fund the schemes we are proposing,” he said.

Naidu says if corruption is removed and there is a proper channelisation of resources, the schemes can be easily implemented. He recalled an incident of a woman complaining to him during his recent tour in Vizianagaram district that she was not getting even 5 per cent of the promised pension, since the remaining amount was being knocked away by middlemen and local leaders. “If we can avoid this kind of corruption, we can easily implement our schemes,” he said.

Manifestos which make people beggars

The manifestos announced by TDPand PRP on Thursday make one wonder whether these parties are treating the voters as beggars, making them dependant on the government for every paisa.
Particularly, the Telugu Desam manifesto is horrible. Instead of empowering the people to earn a better livelihood, the TD says, if it comes to power, it would pay Rs 1500 to the poor families and Rs 1,000 to middle class families per month. The amount will be credited to the bank accounts of the people and they don’t even have to go banks to withdraw the amount; the government will give them electronic cash cards to draw the amount from ATMs. What does it mean? The people will become beggars and they don’t even have to beg at the doorstep, but can get the dole directly at their doorstep. What an idea, Babuji?
And Naidu promised colour televisions to all the poor people. What do they do with these TVs when they don’t have anything to make their both ends meet? Most of the poor dwell in huts without power connection. So, what’s the use of TVs for them? Will they be able to have cable connection or Dish facility? Can they afford power charges and monthly cable charges? How can they have entertainment with empty stomach? During his regime, Naidu provided LPG connections to the poor people under Deepam scheme. But the beneficiaries sold them away, as they could not afford to buy LPG cylinders at a high cost? Where is the guarantee that the TV sets do not go back to showrooms?
Coming to PRP’s election manifesto, Chiranjeevi promises 10-hour free power supply to farmers, which is practically impossible given the power availability now. Do farmers really need 10 hour supply? All that they want is quality power for seven hours. Secondly, he announces “Pasupu-Kunkuma” scheme for girls, under which certain amount would be deposited in the name of a girl child, who would be getting Rs 1 lakh at the age of 18 years. This is again a flop scheme, which was already tested. And the scheme to supply all cooking provisions for just Rs 100 would cost a heavy burden on the State exchequer.
First of all, it is doubtful whether the people would believe all these schemes of TD and PRP. The Congress is yet to come out with its manifesto, but indications are that the government would only promise to the people to carry on all the existing schemes till the saturation level is reached. The YSR government was able to convince the people that it was doing some productive job. Whether the people would get attracted to the new manifestos or believe the YSR’s government is what these elections will prove.

Roja says "I know how to bend Chiru"

Roja don't likes to put an end to end war of words with Praja Rajyam Party leaders.

Roja has not only refused to apologies to Chiranjeevi for her ugly comments against him and his brother Pavan Kalyan; but does not even want to regret for the controversy. On the other hand, she says she would not relent till Chiranjeevi himself apologies to her for instigating PRP Mahila wing chief Sobha Rani.

“I have no enmity with Sobha, since I know pretty well that it was all a game plan of Chiranjeevi to gain petty political mileage. If he doesn’t apologise, I know how to make him bend,” Roja said, in a much aggressive tone.

Dirty politics between PRP and TDP........!!!

People in both PRP and TDP changed the face of politics with there excellent wordings!!!! AND It all started with TDP Mahila president Roja and PRP Mahila Rajyam president Sobha Rani.

Chiranjeevi gave full permissions to the Praja Rajyam mahila chief Sobha Rani, and she just shown her brutal face to media with wordings towards ROJA. Shobha went on to allege that Roja has a shady background, which is too big to write a book. Everybody in the film industry knew how Roja had “entertained” film producers and even their sons to grow as a heroine; how she blackmailed Selvamani to marry her and how she runs bar in the night and darbar in the day. “Roja has a dirty behaviour and attire. Her brothers run belt shops in Chittoor. She is consuming liquor and dancing on the streets. We have been keeping quiet all these days; otherwise, our youth would have thrashed her long ago,” Sobha said.

Roja replied in equally filthy language. “Who is Sobha Rani and what is her political stature? Let her know how Pavan Kalyan had affairs with several women and also the background of Renu Desai,” she said. She made similar comments against Chiranjeevi and his illegal contacts with several artistes in the film industry.

They are angry with Naidu

Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu's remarks that the Collectors are acting like Congress agents has kicked up a row at the Collectors' conference being held at Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Several Collectors found fault with Naidu for making such a comment. They said government was a continuous process, irrespective of change in the ruling parties. "We don't have our own personal agenda. Our duty is only to implement the agenda given by the government of the day. Once the election code of conduct comes into force, we all come under the authority of Election Commission. We cannot side with any political party. How can Naidu attribute motives to us?" a Collector argued angrily.

Ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana lashed out at Naidu for trying to blackmail the officials.

Thoda kottadam ekkavua ayendhi!!!

Telugu Desam star attraction Nandamuri Balakrishna's road shows might be drawing huge crowds, but his dramatics are getting a bit too much.

On the first day of his tour in Hindupur, people cheered him when he thumped his thighs and twirled his moustache. But, he is repeating it everywhere. On Tuesday, Balaiah thumped his thigh again on seeing the crowds, but there was no applause from the crowds; this itself shows his overaction is not being appreciated everywhere.

Moreover, his oft-repeated dialogues from his hit films Samarasimha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu, are also not being cherished. Dialogues like "Kanti Chooputho Champestha"; "Mee Intikochcha, Mee Nattintikoccha.." are becoming very boring. Try for some thing new, Mr Balaiah!

Babu bhava maridhini kadhu ....NTR muddhu biddanu!!

The road shows of Yuvaratna Balakrishna, the star campaigner of Telugu Desam, has entered the fourth day and he is gradually opening up his mind on his future plans, much to the chagrin of TD president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Apparentlhy, Balaiah has realised that the people do not believe Chandrababu Naidu, nor do they have any soft corner towards him. So, he decided to take it upon himself to revive the glory of TD. In his road show in Kurnool district, Balaiah made it clear that he had to come into the people "not as Chandrababu Naidu's brother-in-law, but as son of late N T Rama Rao, to revive the past glory of Telugu Desam."

In Anantapur, too, Balakrishna told people that he would assume the responsibilities of implementing the promises made by Chandrababu Naidu in letter and spirit. "I will not allow anybody violating the promises made to the people," he said.

This is definitely an embarrassing situation for Naidu. He is now worried as to what extent Balaiah would go during his road shows. Don't be surprised, Naidu might even play spoilsport with Balaiah's roadshows midway!

Get out of Maha Kootami? will TRS????

According to the latest reports, Telangana Rashtra Samithi is understood to have decided to get out of Maha Kootami, much before it is officially formed.

TRS State executive, which met here on Thursday under the leadership of party president K Chandrasekhara Rao, is learnt to have decided not to compromise on the number of Lok Sabha seats to be shared with other members of Maha Kootami. "Under any circumstances, let us not accept less than 10 Lok Sabha seats. If we can't get them, it is better we stay away from Maha Kootami and decide on our own way," KCR reportedly told the party leaders.

The TRS president is also angry with the way the Left parties are taking Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu for a ride and forcing him to be tough with TRS on seat sharing. Though CPI State secretary K Narayana tried to blame it on the media, KCR reportedly told the negotiators that irrespective of the media reports, there was no compromise on the number of LS seats.

Now, TD is in trouble. If it gives 10 seats to TRS and two each to CPI and CPI-M, it would be left with just three seats in Telangana. It creates a lot of unrest among the party cadres, which ultimately reflects on the party's prospects in the Assembly. So, it is a devil and the deep sea situation for Naidu!

My Hubby is cooperative!!!

Roja recently got off the political dais and got to share about her family. She said that her husband Selvamani has been full support to her and he has a great deal of interest in politics which has brought her here. Selvamani is a noted film maker in the southern circuit.

Roja also said that it is really heartening to see her two year old son who has just learnt to talk but then shows a lot of affection and concern for her mom even checking whether she had her morning coffee or not. Roja has also got a daughter and overall, this actor- politician is happy that her family symbolizes one happy unit.

Balaiah and Purandareshwari Drama!!!

The way Yuvaratna-turned-hope of Telugu Desam Nandamuri Balakrishna and his sister Daggubati Purandareshwari are expressing their willingness to contest against each other, is giving an impression that both are enacting a big drama.

Balakrishna has made the statement because he has to make some sensational news. He is more interested in contesting Assembly elections, whereas Purandareshwari wants to contest again as an MP.

So, they have no clash of interests. But, it would always be interesting for the media to highlight the contest between sister and brother and they can make a big news.

Political observers, however, say it is all drama. In 1982 elections, the then Congress leader N Chandrababu Naidu, too, challenged to contest against his father-in-law and TD founder N T Rama Rao, but after the elections, he somersaulted into the TD. Who knows, Purandareshwari, too, might jump into the TD, if Balaiah becomes the Chief Minister!

KCR ki Tension And Babu ki Worried

KCR is now an old fox who is soothing his wounds by taking the support of TDP. He is very sensitive now and reacting wildly on media as well. He has expressed his disgust on media stating that the stories are being cooked up on him by some media sources those are not inclined towards PRP, TRS alliance.

He says that gossips are being spread on him stating that he took classes for PRP leaders. KCR now feels that media is gluing red chilly powder for his wounds.

On the other hand it is said that Chandrababu is also worried for PRP-TRS alliance. He is in doubt that all these alliances would confuse people and finally end up in doldrums and utter confusion and benefit Congress

TRS and TDP dosti dosti in TDP Bhavan...

After a gap of nearly seven and a half years, Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders stepped into NTR Bhavan, the headquarters of Telugu Desam.

Though TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao himself did not go to the TD office, he sent his deputies led by B Vinod Kumar and they were received well by the TD leaders. Some of them, who were earlier part of the TD, felt nostalgic, as they entered the NTR Bhavan. They felt that it all looked like homecoming. Later, the TRS leaders attended a meeting held by TD and the Communists on the Babli issue.

The TRS has more or less decided to join hands with the TD and Saturday's meeting brought them further closer. The moot question is whether it would benefit both the parties.

Target Chandhra babu by EK Police

Right now Ap politics are concentrating opposite candidate pluses and minuses. In this category the PRP falls. Naga Babu latest movie ek police targeting babu.

Dr N Siva Prasad who has now become a regular in the movies and was seen in 'Aatadistha' etc. his latest release was 'Ek Police' and Sivaprasad was seen as the opposition party leader. One of his dialogues was that the Chief Minister has given the public wealth to his family and brother-in-laws.

The dialogue goes, "Endi vayya? 5 yellallo baaga sampadinchesi bava maruduluki icchukuni, migathaadi Singapore vyaaparamlo pettukuntunnaavugaa". The dialogue is in fact targeting Chandrababu and off late it was noticed by some.

Now these lines may just be creating a furor at the Telugu Desam camp given the fact that Siva Prasad happens to be a close associate and member of the yellow brigade. The dialogue has surely got a satire and almost all the fingers pointing towards Chandrababu Naidu.
