Karat creates troubles for KCR

As it is Mahakootami is a fragile structure of four incoherent political parties and one is not sure whether they would stick together after the elections.

Yet, leaders of the Kootami continue to trouble one another by making controversial statements. It was the turn of CPI-M national secretary Prakash Karat to prick the bubble of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao. He said there was no change in the CPI-M stand on Telangana and it would continue to oppose the formation of separate state. “Telangana is not an issue before us right now. We are focussing our energies on defeating the Congress,” he said.

KCR, who is already upset with the Telugu Desam and Communists for not including his photograph in the Mahakootami rally, must be angry now. Sources say if the Mahakootami does not come to power, KCR will be the first person to break away from it. Well, it can’t be ruled out!
