Telugu Desam Party official spokesperson and MLC Nannapaneni Raja Kumari was pelted with stones by some unknown miscreants while she was electioneering in East Godavari district on Wednesday night.
A stone hit her forehead and she felt unconscious. She was immediately shifted to a private hospital by party workers where she was administered first-aid.
One wondered who must have hit Nannapaneni, as nobody would take her seriously. Though she said it was the handiwork of some Praja Rajyam Party activists, a TDP leader in the NTR Trust Bhavan remarked, off the record, that the stone pelting was done by some locals who felt her speech very boring.
“When she speaks, it would be irritating even to the TD workers. No wonder, the locals had lost their patience,” the TD leader remarked.
